Nigga, if you're fighting someone with a vest, you should have brought a rifle.
You could also just not drive through downtown LA and not face paramilitary shock troops during your daily morning ambush on the way to work.
Besides, there is a 50/50 chance that this guy is either
A) a glowie trying really hard to get a heads-up on what bubba will point at him when SHTF
B) an FN employee about to tell us about the marvelous world of the BRAND NEW FN 5.7×28MM CALIBER !

Even open carry I'd feel a bit silly and when I can and do bring my long slide out on my g20 for hunting, that's "just irons" I'd feel to cringe otherwise, but maybe the game I shoot won't have time to laugh....
You already lost that one by buying a 10mm Oddglock. That already makes you weird and a potential target for tactical range-day bullying.
Put on the sights that work best for you and call it "The Monster of Glock Ness🦕" when some fag asks stupid questions. Nobody will though because:

Fyi, in a world where this shit exists, a G20 that didnt get the full "pimp my ride" treatment is already a "normal/clean" gun by comparison, no matter what (sane) slide, sights or barrel.
Id even go as far as saying that an unusual Glock that is in stock/semi stock condition is pretty neat, if only because of how many Glocks are either as boring as toast
or completely and permanently ruined by taste- and use-less cosmetic nonsense.
So imo. you are good unless you start busting out the rainbowpuke barrels and other "gamer" stuff that serves no purpose outside of a 2000s rap music video. That is true cringe.

Although even then, who really cares about what others think about your guns? They have to work for you, not your mates.
If you can hunt best with a basterdized "sportler" kar-98 in 22lr using two duct-taped water bottles as a "bipod", then use that thing.
The law is the (official) limit of your armament, not public opinion.

Also, in general, behavior is an order of magnitude more important than armament when it comes to who/what is "cringy" around guns.
Dont be a dick and you will be fine, even with a scratched up "Yeet-Cannon".
Be a dick, and that HK-417 "M110A1" set-up worth 15k is not going to make you a "cool kid" all of a sudden.
You cant make the "correct" or "wrong" purchase to be likeable. You can only be the correct or wrong person.
And considering that you seem to care what people around you think, i think you are good when it comes to that. Don't overthink it and enjoy your guns.

What the fuck

“You never need to verify headspace on an AR barrel.”

Did it actually lock up on an empty chamber?
1. while headspace is a thing, it is controlled by the barrel extension and typically isn't user controlled since end users tend to treat the barrel and barrel extension as a single assembly (which is what they are, basically).

2. yes, there's no reason why it wouldn't work normally... on only one side of the magazine. how on earth it got indexed like that is beyond me. the fix is to remove the barrel extension and thread on a new one (or redrill and repin the extension so it isn't off set, removing and dressing the old pin).

quite the picture though lol.

3D printed gun twitter is something else. Ancaps, ancoms and troons all in one place. There's even a furry I find quite disturbing.
The worst thing about the 3D Gun community besides Derwood, Rob Pincus and some AWCY associates is all the faggots, troons and leftoids. Also there is a chance that the Furry was Cathode, a pretty goood Det. Disp. Developer.

Yeah, I don't get it. You'd think more conservatives would be in on it, especially considering the dissident conservative rise in the recent years. Probably some gatekeeping in the chats or maybe just conservatives shutting up when surrounded by leftists.

The 3D-Gun verse is by no means a political* movement, Its “Leaders“ explicitly ask that personal politics are kept outside of the space. The leftoids just cannot follow the rules, hell a semi-prominent leftoid “Queer Armorer“ was kicked out of the AWCY Matrix for being an annoying faggot IIRC. Ivan is also certainly not a wokoid.

*As in Left/ Right. Personal freedom and Firearms are obviously a big deal.

Conservatives don't give a shit about 3d-print when they can buy an 80% lower and achieve full function without a bunch of tinkering.

After a long day at work you want to maybe grill and go to the range, not mess around with filaments and extrusions. For lefties the calculus is reversed, they have more free time and are more likely to have anxiety about going to a range with a bunch of CHUDS. So they sit at home and tinker with their multi-colored toys and post photos of them on the Internet. Actually firing them with live ammo is more of a theoretical notion.

3D printed AR lowers are EASY. Went from first printer to working lower in a week. Most of that was figuring out bed level. I do have some experience in making precision things though.

I can't imagine myself fucking up an 80%, but if you did, you ruined a part. Fuck up a 0% and you're out some machine time and less than $10 in materials.
Not anymore, that was what the latest Biden ATF conference was mainly about. So, I hope these guys have a plan to be able to scratch build their lowers while this latest administrative overreach works its way through the courts.
That's not what the ruling says. 80%'s still aren't guns unless they're sold with jigs or plans.
