I have a Rossi in 38/357, probably put about a thousand rounds of various sorts through it without a hitch. It wasn't new when I bought it, I've never cleaned it, it just keeps going...

Here's my current plan for it:Picking up my m92 tommorrow. Probably won't post pics because I'm paranoid. I already have a bunch of modifications and new furniture to put on it. Hopefully it doesn't look too bubba'd.
Chopped dongs make me want to chop the dong of people who do that shit to those handguards. Faggot ass shark fin fad needs to die. Here's my current plan for it:
What I have-
CNC Warrior M92 Folding brace
Krebs Custom Ambi Yugo Safety selector
Tango Down pistol grip
Sling
Lots of mags
What I plan to buy-
Chopped Dong handguard(already ordered)
CNC Warrior 4pc brake
Gas tube rail(if I need it)
More mags
I bought the Alpha version with the pic rails on top and the back. I have to remove the rear rail to install the brace, which is annoying, but the brace will sit more flush this way. Also got the right side folder on the brace to keep things relatively slick on the left side of the gun. I have an eotech laying around that looks great on the top rail. Might replace it if the bulk + battery life ends up bothering me. Life stuff came up this week, but I hope to get everything installed in time for a range day this weekend.
I mean I'm pretty sure all the Yugo dongs are new production, so at least they aren't fucking up actual surplus.Chopped dongs make me want to chop the dong of people who do that shit to those handguards. Faggot ass shark fin fad needs to die.
Yea, probably.I mean I'm pretty sure all the Yugo dongs are new production, so at least they aren't fucking up actual surplus.

I have reasons for this rifle needing to appear as a "pistol" so the cut makes it easier to explain i also prefer the look on "modern" aks. Don't worry, this is a new handguard made by Warsaw Wood for the m92. I'm not cutting up any surplus and it isn't stained red.I mean I'm pretty sure all the Yugo dongs are new production, so at least they aren't fucking up actual surplus.
For me, it's not even about that. It's just that chopped dongs, along with cheese graters are peak Reddit r/Ak47 member signifiers.I mean I'm pretty sure all the Yugo dongs are new production, so at least they aren't fucking up actual surplus.
I figured since it's going on an M92. I just used to use a thumb stop or angled grip, but that's me.I have reasons for this rifle needing to appear as a "pistol" so the cut makes it easier to explain i also prefer the look on "modern" aks. I've had fucked up Romy stocks but legitimately never gotten a cut dong before.Sometimes the dongs are already cut in the parts kits (Romanian M63). I've had a few stocks with saw cuts in them near the tang area and butt plates with nail shaped dents.

It had pine tar or something splattered all around the cut, whoever did it was kind enough to round the edges. I cleaned it up but never shellacked it.I've had fucked up Romy stocks but legitimately never gotten a cut dong before.
I'd go with a Swiss 55x series rifle over an AK and AR for that kind of application. For the most compact rifle possible(folding stock/SBR) is the AK still the go-to option or are piston ARs catching up? Collapsible stocks when sliding out of vehicles are ass and I don't want to experiment with the folding adapters, the added leverage to the buffer tube scares me.
You could also try a bullpup with an SBR (Aug with 13.8 inch comes to mind). For the most compact rifle possible(folding stock/SBR) is the AK still the go-to option or are piston ARs catching up?
