I used to be a marshal at an airsoft site, seeing a grown man ragequit and fuck off home because it was an indoor/outdoor site and he wouldn't go outside to regen because it was raining and his expensive electric Personal Training Weapon (definitely not a toy gun) would get wet was a particular high point.

Guy's wearing plate carriers with plates in, fat fucks claiming they couldn't talk about their time "in the sandbox", all sorts of fuckery. Shame because back in the early 2000s it was a bloody good laugh.
 
Saying you can't talk about your time in the sandbox was the 2000s version of, "I can't get into a fight, my hands are registered lethal weapons.".

I fell in love with the Bren gun early and then it back in high school one of the medal of honor or OG cawa duty had it was a fucking machine gun sniper.

Many many years of work and a few trips to gun smith I have my own semi. It's a fucking lovely weapon, heavy af, but always makes friends at the range. I would like to find a place that has a full auto one to rent. It's a great rifle all around and even irl it's quite accurate.

For me it seems to be .308 parent case chamberings. Between myself and my immediate family, we are only missing 22-250. Maybe wasn't a great idea to buy a 7mm-08 bolt gun while owning a 17s, but I got a really good deal on it.

Speaking of odd calibers, whose ready for .30 super carry to become as common and well respected as .327 fed mag in 5 years 😅

327 fed mag is super dope and perfect for snub nose guns, more things should be in it.

Also I don't own a 327 :( 30 super carry might hold a niche, but then again this is coming from a guy who owned a 357 sig.....

I wish it was just the larpy wannabee meps failures of the 00s and 10s, but at least in more populated areas out west most of the airsoft community is going to be fat fucks with hpa guns that waddle about in multicam sweatpants mag dumping at a minigun fire rate. He will be accompanied by the field troon who always runs some stupid huge 14lbs toy gun g3 or SCAR-H that is also HPA'd and fires at a high enough velocity to shatter the plastic pellet on impact, troon gets away with it because troons. You also have to deal with cholos starting shit in the safety area and parking lot, the fat fuck who waddle rushes around corners and always swears he hit you before you blasted the 75lbs of lard that crossed the corner before the rest of him could. Tons of autistic furries and other future incels too.
Its a pretty fun time if you get lucky or pay the cash to go to something like MilSim West, which is more of an intense FTX larp than an airsoft game.

I know I've mentioned before but 100+ pages back but I'm a simp for Ian for sure, and one time I've emailed him offering to lend him a rifle.

He was pure respectful and business, now I'm not salty he turned me down. He thanked me and mentioned he wanted a local gun and could get one. Also was very nice all around.

Also while I'm a /k/ommando he's been open he's not into the chan thing it's too chaos for him. While C&R arsenal are active posters (it's a riot ob, gets hit on more than Mae).

Completely agree but the broader firearms market just killed it.

It was essentially Ruger's pet project for a really good .32 revolver cartridge but no one could seemingly conceptualize that a snub nose can be anything other than .357, .38 special, or .22lr. So it kinda didn't go anywhere even though a .327 fed mag can also fire .32 H&R mag, .32 Long Colt and .32 short.

So the world was deprived of 6 shot super compact snubs. Maybe .30 super carry will wind up in revolvers....

I don't mind Ian throwing in promos for auction houses in return for talking about the guns. That's a whatever for me. Sure it helps those guys but it's gotten his hands on some good shit.

Now praising IO for that shipload of Ethopian guns...
