What do my Farms homies think about red dots on pistols? Useful tool, or mall ninja shit?
If it's mall ninja shit then the term mall ninja is dead. Red dots on pistols are great for some people but I understand not everyone wants or even can use them.

Got a new carry piece with a red dot on it about a year ago. Took some getting used to especially acquiring the dot after drawing. I recommend practicing drawing and acquiring the dot until it makes sense. Much easier to hit targets at 15 yards and greater. The biggest actual problem I ran into was the batteries going out and the backup sights sucking.

Shitty bullpup ak kits, but this time for pistols. As he mentioned there's optional optics mounts for it this certainly peaked my interest, but that'd also mean buying a Zastava ak.
"The Groza at home" :optimistic: but I still want one

With how old my revolver is, I'd be caught dead fucking around with drills and shit to fit a red dot when at its core, it's still a snubnosed Smith and Wesson in 38 special. It would break my heart. Now new guns, no issue, do what you want

I found a Ukrainian auction site for battlefield trophies; including burnt-out PKs, AK-12 bolts & parts, 5.45 projectiles, unit patches, missile parts, pieces of helicopters & aircraft, ammo containers, wristwatches, TA-50 (complete with letters from Russian families inside), deactivated RPGs, training mines, etc.

Don't wait for the big surplus corps like CheaperThanDirt to pick them clean, or laws to change; best buy now.

in the last frame of that AKenstein you can see the bewilderment, confusion, and mild shame in ths gunner's face. tangentially related to confusion and mild shame i've had it with the front sight on my PSA dagger coming loose so i'm swapping the front and rear out with those pyramid sights. ever since i got the kobra red dot i want all my sights to be a ^.

i've also set up a fixed stock on the AR but i think i might be a little dumb. after having first shot it with the A2 tube/buffer, i opened up the upper to swap the BCG for my .22 conversion. the buffer retaining pin was just gone and the buffer/spring was hanging out in the most cartoony looking problem i've had with a gun. the fella working at the range said it was because the buffer tube wasn't on tight enough. i did not put on the end plate that was with the carbine. do i just need to have that plate on to keep that spring in place? am i just a silly goose?

How loose?
loose enough for the post to be coming out at an angle. this would happen after about two or three hundred rounds at a time. a couple weeks back i gave the slide to the fellas at the range and asked if they could hit the threads with loctite while i was still there. they didn't have any loctite but whatever they did held it in place for another 500 rounds before it loosened up again. the head of the screw is stripped and i don't know why or when that happened. the slide came with ameriglo sights and i was never a big fan of them in the first place.

Wonder if it's the sights or just normal PSA QA.

the fun part is that i won't know for sure. i love the dagger, it's never had a malfunction, but the sight and the alright trigger are these little niggling problems that need dealing with.
