Look at this crazy ass slavjank grenade launcher that Forgotten Weapons did a vid on:
So instead of launching an explosive charge in a cartridge like a regular grenade launcher, they decided to instead launch a percussion cap version of a regular grenade with a cartridge blank, this setup requires two magazines, and the grenade has a 5 second fuse after getting activated. I probably don’t need to explain some of the problems in this setup.

Im going to take it that Republican politicians and appointed judges are too cuckolded to repeal the NFA.

Did somebody say weird old eastern European repeating blank firing grenade launchers?
Here's the AG-2, designed by some guy called Taubin in the USSR in the 30's. I don't see a lot of English info about it, but it's said that the first model fired rifle grenades and it appears to have a double magazine for grenades and propulsion cartridges (Unless that's just a big coil spring, but supposedlythe gun has 3 ejectors), so it seems vaguely similar.

Mayber it's just me, but I noticed there's been a recent trend with a particular demographic of truckers, flexing on each other with their "sleeper guns". Because of course they're regularly engaging feral gangs of lot-lizards, fighting the ferocious truck-stop cartels, and they need the capacity & penetration to fend off those heavily armored hitch-hikers.
:story:
I don't get that. I'm an OTR guy, and a gun guy, and I just keep my carry gun in the sleeper, locked up when I have to drive through states without reciprocity. Firing my 9mm in my sleeper would be bad enough but.....

back when i was doing LEO duty i remember being intrigued and kinda scared on a report of a hunting rifle (described as a bolt action .308) being used to fire a warning shot from inside the sleeper compartment and through the passenger compartment and out the side door to ward off a vehicle hijacking (CA considers an occupied vehicle as similar to an occupied home, ergo castle doctrine applies, and that's true even today) of a semi along CA-4...

Did the shooter ever regain his hearing?

Did the shooter ever regain his hearing?
no clue, but the noise got a lot of attention and the potential break in artist took off running, which is what got the police called to begin with since the overnight staff at the rest stop heard it loud and clear 100 meters distance in a separate building (shower/store type place).

.22 magnum is a pretty comfortable round to fire in a small room or vehicle, you'll lose your hearing for a second but it's not painfully loud.

This actually isn't a bad gun if you feed it the right ammo.
It looks fun honestly if nothing else, just being able to spray 22 mag all day. This I could kind of see as a car gun, it's small enough

I have no idea why it took me this long to buy a 10/22. I can practice shooting all day now instead of for just a couple of hours without thinking about money.

Here's a flintlock pistol kit I put together with my dad while I was visiting. He's not a gun person at all so I appreciated him still working on it with me. It took way more fitting than I expected but it came out looking great. We rust browned the barrel.

However I realized halfway through our build that it's the same flintlock that Tim Pool has hanging on his wall.

:stress:
Looks like his was a prebuilt one though.
