KS7 is fun but sort of pointless other than a range toy, I never had good luck with KelTecs working as expected.

I've got an older Beretta A303 for hunting waterfowl, a short barreled 500 with a raptor grip, and a general use longer barreled Maverick for camp gun duties. That covers almost all bases, although there's always room for a 1301 or an M4...

So far, the only shotgun I have is a completely ridiculous Mossberg 930 - the snow goose gun with the Kryptek arctic camo and 13-shot tube (though I currently have the shorter one on it). I've added the OR3Gun marine spacer tube, plunger and bolt release. It's a little rattly feeling, but it runs reliably as long as I keep the gas system clean.

I tell people, go see the movie, enjoy it. After you've enjoyed the movie google the real Chris Kyle and see what he was all about. My understanding is most of what he said while he was overseas was accurate, the shit about beating up Jesse Ventura and shooting people from the roof of the football stadium were complete bullshit.
He exaggerated how many medals he earned. It was something like 1 Silver Star and 3 Bronze Stars, but he claimed he had 3 Silvers and 5 Bronzes.

Getting one of either of those is already a big deal. There'd be no reason for him to lie about it other than ego.

Is it as thicc in real life as it looks in photos? The whole fish aesthetic doesn't quite do it for me, although that's a matter of personal taste.
The combat carp does feel kinda "tall" in your hands.
I don't notice once it's in the shoulder.
I completely understand people's visual aversion to the gun. It's why I hesitated picking one up.
Once it's in your hand and bring it up it just kinda melts into you.
Hard to really explain well.

S&W has their version in the M&P-12 that I assume performs better.

I've heard of that one, but never handled it. May be good, never had any issues with S&W.

I get that, Beretta always had great ergonomics.

Can't really judge, got a few polymer turds myself, even a Tavor which seems to shoot about as well as the ARX series, accuracy-wise.

Oh boy have I found something amazing, TWO Separate 3D printed MP7 projects with one of them being multi caliber, both designs appear to revolve around cut up CMMG bolt carriers.
First we have the design by developer AMK, Chambering options being 9mm, 5.7 and 4.6
The other is by BrokenBulletz, his is much less far a long, hasn't posted about it since June and he doesn't seem to actually have any physical examples, if he does he hasn't showed them. He has also played with the idea of using M&P 5.7 parts.

Truthfully, wouldn't mind if I did.

i guess with my own personal experiences, i would probably prefer something like 6.8 SPC for special infantry in 12.5 through 13.7 moderated/suppressed packages and 16" with moderator and QD option for general infantry, although i would retain something equivalent to 300 win mag for long range precision and a modified 6.8 SPC (ballistic 6.5 swede clone in a 7.62 NATO sized package) for a GPMG type weapon that would be a modernized ultimax 100.
I will never understand the love .270/6.8mm bullets get.

The 3D printing gun community always has me wondering if I should buy a 3D printer and just play with it, I own a mill a lathe and a mig welder but, I don't have the drive to just build a 9mm PCC that isn't as good as one I can assemble out of aluminum and steel. I've mentioned before if the P90 was built in a better cartridge like 10mm I'd have more interest in it. If the HK MP7 had a 9mm option I might wanna play with one. All these state of the art PDW's are built around cartridges that were made for killing well armored commies, I would like to see something in plain old 9mm or an ideal PCC cartridge like 10mm.

They are cheap enough that it is fun, but I would go against the grain and advise against some of the cheaper models like the Ender. They used to be recommended a lot, but people kind of realized that spending 2 weeks troubleshooting every once in a while isn't worth the time or money.

I bought a full auto FEG amd65, and am debating on an optic for it. I'd prefer side mounted and am leaning towards a PSO or PKA. Best case a Kobra but avalibilty on those are absolutely retarded right now. Any thoughts on this my kiwibros?

i mean, those are pretty old tech. are you wanting something more modern? have you considered a PK-06?
