unless it's a lemon or something then i think you'd be happy with a modern Python or Cobra.I never expected the new Pythons to be as good as the old. Just as long as they were better than Taurus and on par with Ruger and S&W.

I like charter arms. Mines been solid and the new ones are pretty good too. The springs go down pretty quickly on them though, I'd replace the mainspring every 1000 rounds. Made in USA too, and one of the few revolver makers to still offer a .32 mag snub. The Ruger SP101 actually takes some design features from the undercover. mainly the solid frame construction. makes for a stronger gun. the undercover's chief designer went on to work for bill ruger after he left charter. Are cheaper .38 revolvers worth it at all?
old school door kicking in the 70's was a Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 and a resin/kevlar Baker shield for the breacher and a guy with a shotgun as the support. good times.charter arms
What about current day Charter Arms?old school door kicking in the 70's was a Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 and a resin/kevlar Baker shield for the breacher and a guy with a shotgun as the support. good times.
I like them. the finish quality has suffered but that's true of all manufacturers. I don't own a new one yet but i have shot them and they seemed quality. I'd like to have .32 and a .45 colt from them eventually. What about current day Charter Arms?
garbage blued finish, matte stainless and bright stainless is ok, the nitride / black oxide is very good and chrome is passable but thin (no ammonia allowed for cleaning). gun itself is old tech and other than adopting some standardized sights and rails and a very nice frame design, they've mostly maintained quality over the years. sort of like Mauser rifles and pistols. What about current day Charter Arms?

That's really interesting. For some reason I kinda always dismissed them as a poverty brand. Kind of hypocritical as a PSA fan.garbage blued finish, matte stainless and bright stainless is ok, the nitride / black oxide is very good and chrome is passable but thin (no ammonia allowed for cleaning). gun itself is old tech and other than adopting some standardized sights and rails and a very nice frame design, they've mostly maintained quality over the years. sort of like Mauser rifles and pistols.
Poverty brand by coincidence, and maybe poor marketing. The same company that has been a mainstay for holdout pieces now makes weird shit to try and reinvent their brandThat's really interesting. For some reason I kinda always dismissed them as a poverty brand. Kind of hypocritical as a PSA fan.
Fucking sick! Although I am not a fan of the trigger the P99 has great aesthetics. I hope it serves you well for a long time.Hey kiwis look what I'm getting:

I held off for a couple months figured I'd give someone else a chance and I went in today and if it was there I'd jump on it and sure enough. As for the trigger I don't mind it theres worse out there like those new H9s Daniel Defense is putting put there was already one in the used section and I could see why.Fucking sick! You're not wrong about that. I hunted down the last DD H9 one of the stores in my area had because I'm an unrepentant DD fanboy. This is the first DD gun where I'm not at all impressed. I was able to fix the gay ass 12 o'clock combat sights with a red dot, but this thing will definitely be staying in the safe and watching my other guns leave with me to the range a lot more often. I've been way more excited about the Lipsey's edition of the S&W 642UC that I was finally able to find at the same store, I love this little thing. As for the trigger I don't mind it theres worse out there like those new H9s Daniel Defense is putting put there was already one in the used section and I could see why.
Did they do the retarded "combat hold" like the original?gay ass 12 o'clock combat
First thing that comes to mind for me is the Henry Big Boy if you don't mind brass fittings they sure look pretty. Can you revolver nerds help me out? I'm looking for a revolver that looks just like this, the only problem this one is in 44 special and I want either 357 or 45colt. I like the short barrel, exposed ejector, ROUNDED wood grip.
