That doesn't make any sense since the things could be carrying anything. If you can defend yourself from an intruder, you should be able to defend yourself from an intruding drone. Although the airspace above your property isn't yours.Do not shoot drones down, it is a federal crime.

Interesting times, although so far I haven't been able to find a guy getting 20 years for shooting a drone. Even though they are technically an "aircraft." If someone is flying a drone low and unsafely around you....
