Shotguns are pointing weapons where your eye is the rear sight. Red dots just aren’t the best sighting system for skeet, or sporting clays. They can work for trap and certain hunting situations.

I’m all for red dots. I have one on my carry pistol, but they are not the be all end all for clay shooting.

Yeah, the only reason to put a red dot on a shotgun is either if it's a slug gun being used in the woods where shots are going to be pretty short range, or if it's a fighting shotgun. I've got the Vortex holographic optic on my Origin 12, and it seriously feels like it was made for that gun.
 
I wish I got a huge DONG optic before they stopped public sales, I guess no one wanted to touch a dong even though they look pretty cool

He's also too scared to get his hand near the muzzle of a shorty. That's was the hand stop is for, dipshit. Put a can on it if you're that scared. The more I looked at those pictures, the worse it got. Keymod lol, buis up for no reason, rear buis mounted too far back, anti-walk pins required. I hate this guy and his pistol.

I've never owned a PSA that lasted 500rds without catastrophic failure. Usually just an assembly issue, but getting a buffer tube that wasn't threaded all the way around and literally just jammed into the lower was special.

PSA is a good company woryh supporting. Just do it by buying their ammo, their rifles can't be trusted.

M&P a much better choice. But if you are a smart guy you buy DS Arms.

Also, I know nothing about DS Arms AR's , but I know that their FAL clones are a fucking mess. Based on that alone I wouldnt buy an AR from them without alot of fucking documentation to the contrary.

Police trade in Gen 3 Glocks, but really, I have the same answer to all the noobs: go rent a host of pistols at a range and see what fits you best, in 9mm of course.

Nothing will beat the mid-late 2010s flood of $300 gen 3 .40 Glocks dumped on the market after the FBI released that report that they were switching back to 9mm and all those PDs immediately followed their lead.

The makers of the "Scorpion" Ammunition backpack for PK pattern machineguns has a relatively new product that has seen no press attention, Polymer machinegun belt links. Previously a Ukrainian firm, the Kharkov Plant for Personal Protective Equipment designed and brought to market a similar product which is (or at least was) seeing service in the current hostilities. While I do not have any specifics as to the exact reduction in weight, the youtube auto translate features says between "4 times" and "approximately 38%" lighter than conventional steel belts (I would assume that youtube fucked up and that "4 times" is a mistranslation of "about 40%")
It is not clear if the belts are disintegrating like the Ukrainian counterpart but I would assume that they are because you can't really injection mold such a complex object and making so many pieces be stuck together my something other than the cartridge would be really expensive and a pain in the ass to assemble.

Very interesting to see the continued development of Lightweight ammunition solutions, now it must be combined with polymer cased ammunition, to further the trend of guns like the Evolys and KAC LAMG being treated as big assault rifles. Ammunition will continue to get lighter, more consistent from round to round and in some cases, noticeably more powerful

Great video going over the differences between the New Obr. 2023 AK-12 and the previous model, they really stiffened up the handguard (which now has a new mysterious hole in the bottom of it) and the new safety needs to be cloned here in the states

Bill didn't fuck up his revolvers while he was up to his shitty fudd activities like ensuring the Mini-14 standard cap mags were practically unobtanium, at least. It's also because S&W confusingly still refuse to unfuck their revolvers to this day. HK started trickling in MP5's and even Colt started making revolvers again, the least Smith can do is make that dumb ass lock an option on their $1600 R8 rather than standard.

As I've said before, sunk costs and the production line is setup to have them on most of what they make.

Show me on the doll where the lock touched you.

Other gun makers have internal action locks, including Ruger and Taurus.

Post early 2000s they didn't impact sales enough to be an issue. This has been yammered about for decades by Fudds.

Interesting enough. Note that a basic bitch PSA has been proven to go bang for 5k-6k rounds until the bolt/BCG starts getting wonky. At that point pop on a new upper (maybe from another mfg) and you'll be a ok for thousands or tens of thousands of more rounds.

Marketing has convinced us that we need a primary defensive arm that has had 5,000 rounds put through it and a Ship of Theseus makeover to prove reliability before it can be taken seriously, but even the most notable one-shot drops have been done with bare bones, unexciting pieces like a Kel-Tec pocket gun or an unlubed M&P Sport.
People cite the autist that runs "School of the American Rifle" on YouTube as to why a PSA BCG is inefficient because it leaks gas but they don't realize that, because it still functions and tosses projectiles with a vague sense of accuracy, even a poorfag can protect his castle when the door gets kicked in at night without buying a BCM or LRT or what have you.

You support PSA because you can do so with a clean conscience, they actually make some effort in pushing unique products out, and they charge shit rod prices for shit rod guns instead of scam prices for scam guns. The PSA rifle will usually work out of the box for at least a little bit. Their ammo is phenomenal, AAC has been a massive blessing for shooters.

FALs are hard, DSA is trying and has gotten better making them. Their ARs are nice.

It would be impractical. The grease they run in would be a magnet for gunpowder and jam. A sealed bearing group would be heavyer and larger than the other options. And if you can clean the bearings, you can lose a ball bearing, and now your gun don't work. I think they do use ball bearings in turrets for rotation, but thats about it. That and shoving the balls into shotshells... hypothetically.
