I went to /k/ for the first time in a while yesterday. Literally every single thread on the first page was about "epic ukraine kino!" Or "russia BTFO!".
I remember when that place used to be about taking about guns, going into the woods with your guns, sticking your dick into guns, having a good time. Now its just a shithole run by literal trannies. I knew something was up when they never banned that "armatard" dude when he'd spam the board over and over with nonsense.

Obviously the entire gun just detonates because it's a bullpup revolver, and anything within a 37 mile radius of the front of the cylinder is going to be a nuclear wasteland.

Opchan is still sort of around on discord but it feels like a shell of it's self. A few of the more informative tripfags left, like AcidMan, but there's still a few kicking around at least. They do have a Russian apparatchik constantly shitting up the happenings channel with go Russia go updates which is annoying in it's own way.

Nope, an actual shell; the cylinder doesn't move. At least the trigger pull should be better than a Nagant.

what i mean wasnt the cylinder moving, but the nagant shell is also a bit different than a normal shell in an attempt to trap teh gas.

It looks like they use normal .357, it's just the diagram didn't model them exactly with round-nose projectiles.

Normally I despise 10mm, I imagine these are the feelings Americans had about 9mm back before we got used to it. Its too European and weird.
However I do find this compelling.

Anyone have any recommendations on sites to purchase a moist nugget from? Also are there any years/manufacturers/models I should just outright avoid?
I got to shoot a buddy's Mosin like 10 years ago and really enjoyed it but then muh imports ban so getting one cheap was out of the question and now I have adult money and am currently on a surplus bug and want one again.
I'm not looking to get gouged but I'm also wary of people selling them for under 600 or the dreaded sporterized versions. Am I just better off combing LFGS or is the Internet superior here?

Hmm the Mosin Crate is a good bet although his stiff arrives when it arrives so be quick with the mouse.
Beyond that gun auction sites (NOT FUCKING GUNBROKER I HATE IT SO MUCH) like this good one here, Gun auction

how are mosins selling for 300+ dollars? i got mine for 70 bucks. jesus this sucks.
look i like my mosin, it is fun, but if you are paying 300+ for a plain 91/30, the i recommend getting any other bolt action rifle. they just arnt worth that.

Mausers generally start at $500+ even Rusty POS ones are $300+.
Makarovs start at $500 and rapidly rise from there

yeah, it is insane how quickly prices on mill sup went up.
feel the same way about cheap sks and takarev. i remember when you used to get them new in box with spare mag, holster, and cleaning rod for $99. glad i got my vz when i did. $200 for it and two mags.
apparent J&G has them for $300 which is still a very good deal. (shopping around you might be able to find one a tad bit cheaper) i recommend everyone in this thread to get one while you can.
