IMO .38 Special is the revolver equivalent to 9x19.

It really is, power and accuracy wise roughly, and has been since 1899. Yeah, it's fucking OLD. As such it has a ton of development in terms of loads. Just like 9mm. There is a load for every use purpose at this point and every gun, be it a light weight aluminum frame gun, or a heavy full size steel frame revolver. It'll lay a man flat as it has been doing for over 100 years.

Again for a good +p round in .38, I recommend the Remington FBI load. Solid if not a bit smoky, feels like thunder in your hand, will definitely do its job.

FBI and police used this stuff for years with no issues.

I think the SCR looks much less retarded, but it uses proprietary parts, which are priced accordingly.

A wood SCR in .308 with a nice wood fore end would be kinda nice, imho.

Gave that an "Optimistic" you might get a legit M4 clone that runs just as hard as the Italian one for 1/4 the price....

Or you might get a giga-lemon with zero QC where you have to replace everything except the receiver and barrel to get it to work.

The dirty secret of the gun industry is as follows: the semi auto pistol, rifle and shotgun were essentially prefected 2+ decades ago and ANYONE can make a perfectly good clone of a world beating "name brand" gun all day. However, not everyone is on top of their QC/supply chain inputs/manufacturing tolerances and that's where you get Turkish shotguns and pistols that blow themselves apart or Taurus.

Revolver, lever action, Pump and bolt action firearms were perfected over half a century ago, if not a century.

I just wanted a review of safariland 6360 RDS.

Does anyone have a good level 2/3 holster for the Glock 17 frame? I don’t have to worry about some homeless taking my gun in an altercation.

I hike in the woods a lot and some of those dudes are the type to rush and get you on the ground after stalking you. Lots of meth taken out there, my neighbor tried to camp and had to fire off a warning round once because of how aggressive they are, they don’t back off even after seeing the gun.

FYI I run optics cut with a somewhat cheapo holosun that gets dust and shit in the window and I’m terrified of mud/sand getting in the emitter. A sight shield is preferred on the holster. If you can save me from buying a $300 holster I’ll love you. I picked up a c&g holster at the Fudd shop and don’t feel like it was a good buy, It’s no retention OWB and prints heavily at 3 to 4 o’clock when I pull a bulky hoodie over it.

Also it seems that Turk shotties are all made at the same factory and then rebranded. Mine is pump but has the exact same receiver, trigger guard, optics, even the wood grain is the exact same. Remind me later and I'll post a pic. I love mine. Eats slugs and Buck like the day is long, haven't had to do anything to it yet, but will be upgrading it down the line. But I paid just around 150 for mine. I saw their semis around 250 and they were almost exactly like the one you posted.

I bought a new 17rnd P30 magazine to see exactly how HK got two more rounds into the same magazine body as the OG 15rnd mags, and it appears that they greatly changed the follower, and slightly changed the baseplate and keeper to do it.

Knowing this, I swapped the follower, and the baseplate keeper into my 13rnd USP Compact magazine, and then proceded to load it to 15 rounds.

With the "17 round upgrade kit" parts now on the way from HK parts, I will now have flush fitting 15 round magazines for my P2000 (can't use the P30/VP baseplates, they don't fit the gun), which greatly pleases me, as its now not down two rounds to the Glock 19, which is exactly the same size, more or less.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the new 15 round magazines with the pinky extension for the VP/P30 SK pistols is using the old 13rnd length USP-C magazine bodies, just with a different follower and SK specific baseplate for the two more rounds, and I can't help but wonder if I could just slam on a regular USP-C baseplate and have them work as well.

Edit: also, the VP9SK with the 15 round mag felt like a much better fitting G19, so I'll probably get one of those soon, lmao.

I have enigmas. They have been replaced by a Hunter Constantine belt.

The Enigma is more concealable but less comfortable than the HC belt. Also I hate the leg strap on the enigma

I was playing with the 17 and 20 round magazines for the P30/VP9. The 20s use the same older follower design as the 15. Interestingly the plus 5 extensions for the 15 round magazines become plus sevens if you use the new 17rd follower, but if I put the same follower in the 20 round mag, I only get plus one.

If you want something similar to an m14 and want a 5.56 but dont want to scare the hoes take a look at the wood stock mini 14s, .308 gets expensive to shoot as well tbqh

Pretty much every fudd and reagan boomer loves anything ruger designed pre bill ruger demise circa 2002 and moderate soccer moms will look at it like a hunting rifle, especially if you put a scope on it. You can also get get the "tactical version lol" that comes with a threaded barrel

I have an enigma, its very concealable, but theres some downsides.
-expensive, you have to buy a one for each of your guns if you carry different models/light combos, especially costly if you buy upgrades like the sport belt
-the leg strap is annoying and hangs down beneath shorts, if you tighten it up its uncomfortable
-cumbersome to take off/put on if you already have pants on
-tugs the gun a little too close to my body, draw time slightly worse than regular aiwb
If you have the money and tuck your shirt everyday, it might be worth it. I'm selling mine. Some people swear by them though, same with the HC belt. Trying out one of those next.

Mini 14s are pretty fun. My friends broke on him, but that we put 1000s of rounds through that thing. And .308 was better when cheap Wolf ammo was available, but the Ruskies and Ukies just had to start shooting at each other again.
