I've been telling myself I'm getting one more 9mm before this bullshit gun law that got struck down might go into effect at the end of the month and then I found a Beretta 92x online for $500...
So yeah, that extra 9mm is now on the way.

I saw a sign outside a local gun store.

That California is planning to raise the ammunition background check fee from $1 to $5 now.
this is in addtion to the 11% excise tax on firearms and ammunition as well. supposedly the fee should be closer to $7 if you read the minutes of the relevant meetings since the amount of the background check fee is determined by actual costs, not arbitrarily.

Spotted this abomination over in r/Cyberstuck:

Which happens to be the only secure spot for it...

... which can be opened with a 12v battery & pair of jumper cables, if/when the thing bricks.

And who also apparently ND'd his taser into the "truck" touchscreen display.

Let’s say I pick up a new colt cr6940 m4, if I ship it to my FFL can I apply for the 11.5 to 14 inch barrel and just take my new fun home while I wait a few months? If I have the serial can I still apply and wait while rocking the 16 inch?

I just noticed now.

Well I should have noticed before.

Unlike the traditional carry handle with 2 apertures, the big and small ring.

The backup sights used by the USMC are the KAC and the MaTech, which only use the small ring aperture?

Are there any air rifle shooters amongst the threads participants? An air rifle thread dealing with pump/springer/CO2/PCP air rifles would be quite informative for someone who wants to put game on the table in a societal collapse situation. Hyper velocity pellets suck, magnum springers suck until you learn the hold, heavier pellets/slugs give greater accuracy and penetration, magnum springers break scopes but a full auto Hatsan Blitz .30 is not considered a firearm and will put every slug out of 17 in a dime sized hole at 30 yards.

I have a Benjamin Marauder in .22 that I use on rabbits and squirrels. I keep it pressurized at 2500 psi so I can bullseye them at about yards. It's a bit pricey, but it is rated for coyote and I have done some plinking at 100 yards.

help me out with MP5 optics fellas. the HK style irons are the greatest to have blessed my vision. i'm putting holes within holes with them, but i yearn for something illuminated. lightweight and magnified, even. i love their prisms but no way PA's SL3x has the eye relief for something like the HKParts raised mount. should i just go for broke, say fuck the iron sights and sell enough jenkem for an ACOG? maybe a mini? would the gun itself being made by MKE matter? should i shit myself and do nothing?
edit: maybe even put buffalo bore +P+ 147gr for coyote business?

Trijicon has the compact ACOG that might suit your needs. They offer them in 1.5x, 2x, and 3x. I have a 3x model on my AUG A3 and really love it. You probably would have to get one of the picatinny mounts that will block your irons, but it's an ACOG and not likely to break on you any time soon.

Is that a LMT rear sight?

I am been trying to buy one and they still all sold out.

Check your messages.

I picked up an RWS 350 Magnum almost a decade ago but I bought the .177 just because I had a large variety of pellets for it on hand. The Ruger .22 clone of the 350 is really tempting with scope included for less than $200 USD. Next purchase is definitely a quality compressor though.

Yeah PCP rifles are much better than the gas-piston i bought originally. It couldn't reach my shed with enough power, and I don't think my neighbors would appreciate me letting a round of 5.45 off even if it was for a woodchuck. I just have the multi stage pump for the Marauder, but it stays consistent for 8 to 10 mags before I notice a drop.
