I need to finger fuck a USP, never have because the USP has always been out of my price range. Do tell though, why is the USP the best 40?

Smith has always been good at getting police contracts, because their shit works. In Asia they're STILL getting police contracts for REVOLVERS. Korea especially loves their police wheelguns, they have stainless ones.

Until the USP, most pistols in .40 Smith and Wesson were just a punched out version of a 9mm pistol. The USP was designed around the .40, which is why they're such tanks.

USP are real nice id like an elite one day so I get 99.5% solid snek gun with out May may mark up.

Also Mrs basso has a good sense of humor in regards to election " we can take the black tips out now right?"

Adorable. I think I'm going to not spray her with ice water in her cuck cage tonight.

I’m contemplating purchasing my dream .45 caliber handgun, specifically the FNX-45 Tactical. I’d appreciate general thoughts on it.
As a left-handed shooter, I find the ergonomics of the FNX-45 Tac particularly appealing; and a high cap 45 looks cool.
However, the counter to that: I currently have an XDM in 10mm that somewhat satisfies that need. Are there any other options to consider in 10mm or 45mm?

As the owner of a FNX Tactical I refuse to talk you out of it.

Any american semi auto shotguns that support mini shells without modification? Figured something like that may be nice to use for home defense but the Mossberg 590s seems like a fine option for pump too.
realistically no. mini shells fire at much lower pressure so you'd definitely get issues with cycling.
for what its worth, I have a 590s and its a great gun, thing runs like a tank.
I would say don’t get a shotgun and get a reliable semi auto rifle like an AR 15
shotguns are perfectly fine for home defense, its preference at that point.

A rifle is more effective and easier to use.
Sub 30 yards a shotgun will be way more destructive no argument. People survive rifles in 5.56 all the time, but a load of buck or large birdshot within 15 yards will blow a fucking massive hole into whoever is in your house. Criminal can't win or waste your time in court if he's stuck to your wall. 10 shells should hopefully be enough to finish the job as you probably don't have that many chances as well. If need be, retreat and get something better suited for the situation.
I'd say they're about the same for ease of use, and length/weight can be the same for any reasonable choice.
Sound is also a thing, I shoot shotguns on occasion without earpro, but only made that mistake once with an AR-15. Indoors idk, but the shotgun is probably less harmful. Penetration is important for HD stuff, which shotguns are generally considered to be safer for. On the consideration of safety, a standard semi or pump shotty will look better in court god forbid you're living in a shithole state, which chances are high if you're truly worried about home defense.

At the end of the day, pistols, ARs, and shotguns have advantages and disadvantages, but I just don't think they're large enough to justify saying "x is better than y." It is up to preference at that point.
what matters WAY more is how competent/comfortable you are with a given platform. if are more experienced with AR's, then use an AR. if you use shotguns more because you think they're more fun to use, use a shotgun for home defense instead.
trying to quantify which is "meta" like a video game is a waste of time, IMO.

what do you mean by "more effective"? rifles and shotguns both get the job done perfectly adequately.
A person will be able to engage more effectively due to reduced recoil of a semi auto rifle compared to a shotgun, especially a manually operated shotgun. Manually operated guns also run increased risk of user induced malfunctions. There are good reasons why sub machine guns replaced shotguns, and carbines replaced sub guns.

People survive getting shot by lots of stuff as long as you don’t hit anything vital. Bird shot is a bad idea if you want to cause a physical stop of an attacker. Well placed 00 buck can be devastating, but so can well placed hollow point rifle rounds.

Guys, how do I talk to my cats about gun safety? 1000046828.jpg

How's that brake working out for you? I was thinking about putting a Cookie Cutter on my Dissipator.
Do you hate everyone on the range? Do you hate seeing? Do you hate hearing? If you answered yes. That brake is for you. That said, it does its job very well.
