Not the guy but I never could convince Mom to carry until the grandkids came along and She asked me what kind of gun I recommended. Was genuinely not worried about herself, and I and the other kids couldn't convince her otherwise, but grandkid maybe being hurt got her asking about and shooting .380's and 9's. Some people are weird that way.Out of curiosity, why not? Carrying something other than a gun for self defense is sort of like picking up a pair of pliers to drive a nail. It can work, but it's not exactly the best tool for the job.
Some people use guns, I prefer knives... they are slower more personal.. You get to know them.. I was studying the blade ....Out of curiosity, why not? 9mm 1911...
Blasphemy or blast happy?
Guess I'm going to find out.
The 9mm version is also easily tolerable by the target market of "your mom, your wife or your girlfriend."A ez 380 has a easy to rack slide and basically no recoil.
Whatever they're most comfortable with is important. If they don't like 9mm recoil they're going to not want to ever practice with it. 380 with Lehigh defense Xtreme defender ammo leaves brutal wound channels. The 9mm version is also easily tolerable by the target market of "your mom, your wife or your girlfriend."
I'm of the mind that if you're going to go for a traditional single stack 1911 it needs to be chambered for either .45 ACP or 10mm, with .38 Super also being acceptable. If you're going for a double stack 1911/2011 then 9mm, 10mm, or .38 Super are the way to go. I love both my Dan Wesson Specialist .45 ACP and my Staccato P 9mm. If I were to get another 1911 based pistol it would probably be in 10mm Auto, but I would make sure it's one designed to hold up to the hot stuff without cracking or battering itself to pieces as many of the older 10mm 1911 are known to do, like the original Colt Delta Elites.
This is my second 1911.I'm of the mind that if you're going to go for a traditional single stack 1911 it needs to be chambered for either .45 ACP or 10mm, with .38 Super also being acceptable. Hmm the Glock AR will probably START at $2k.It looks pretty sweet, especially with a stock 65 degree safety. I'd definitely pick up a Glock AR grip if they sold furniture separately, they would give Magpul a run for their money.
It just looks like it's part of the geometry of the lower, it looks like they have an ambi bolt catch above the magazine release.
I think the Dan Wesson Razorback is solid with little need to change anything at all aside from maybe the sights. The Springfield Armory Ronin also is a good 10mm platform, but its lower MSRP means one probably will end up installing higher quality small parts. All told I bet one could go either way and come in at around $1900 for the pistol, customization, a few extra mags, and a holster/mag pouch combo. If I were to get another 1911 based pistol it would probably be in 10mm Auto, but I would make sure it's one designed to hold up to the hot stuff without cracking or battering itself to pieces as many of the older 10mm 1911 are known to do, like the original Colt Delta Elites.
I gotchuDon't know how to dl xitter vids, but here's another 320 just oopsied.
Ruh RoH shaggy, I think we're about to see the P320 get deep sixed....Don't know how to dl xitter vids, but here's another 320 that just oopsied. Witnesses there are swearing up and down he didn't have his hand on the gun at the time of discharge. It was allegedly in a T1C OWB holster and was (maybe) an X5 legion with an aftermarket barrel w/ comp and maybe different grip module, the parts changed shouldn't have anything to do with random discharge, though again, this is just according to someone who was in the class where the discharge occurred. Ben Stoeger has also posted about it on Instagram and his YouTube. In Ben Stoeger's video on this he mentioned that Chicago has banned it from being able to be carried by their police due to safety concerns. As well, just recently the OKC PD have switched from p320s to HK VP9s due to a p320 that went off at a school playground in December. It may be banned state wide there too.
Now cops aren't known for being the most safe, but whatever the truth is, this is severely going to be harming Sig's bottom line as more and more police departments move to safer platforms.
The P320 will likely remain in production because of all the Armed Forces who have (unwisely) adopted it. Commercially, they'll axe any model that isn't the m17 or m18; at least that's how I see it.Ruh RoH shaggy, I think we're about to see the P320 get deep sixed....
I have a feeling the P365 Fuse will be spun up to replace it and the P320 will be out of production in less than 18 months..... Or the only version left will be the manual safety models.
SIG will probably try and salvage the magazines but may have to redevelop a pistol to replace the P320 eventually. Talk about a once in a generation fuck up.
Meanwhile Glock, H&K, Walther, and S&W are sitting pretty....
It's been happening to those, as well. This guy is putting the work in, though who knows if that's the only issue.Or the only version left will be the manual safety models.
They can always return to the P250.SIG will probably try and salvage the magazines but may have to redevelop a pistol to replace the P320 eventually.
Ohh fancy. Just realized he can make grips for my SP-01....
