True, but this is a huge step towards at the very least reopening the machine gun registry at the very least. Every journey begins with a single step.
I would love to see the NFA repealed, but I’m not so sure there is a political appetite for it. Even getting SBRs off the registry doesn’t seem to have as much momentum behind it, even though it makes no logical sense for SBRs to be regulated since pistols are not regulated by the NFA.

I believe the reason SBR bills die is due to the DEA among other agencies. Suppressors aren't found in crimes much, but I'm sure SBRs are found a hell of a lot in drug busts. Even if gun charges get dropped they still can use it and the 10 years as leverage to get information out of someone in exchange for dropping the charge. I remember years ago talking to someone in the know about this but my memory is murky. Take it with salt.

Ever video I see of niggers posing with weapons their Dracos aren't stocked or even braced. You'd think the Feds would catch enough of them with Glock switches to have the same leverage.

Anyways, since all gun forums are cancer. Has there been any documented cases of P365's having uncommanded discharges like their big brothers?

It's a ridiculous comparison. The M14 was a rifle designed to answer questions posed by the previous war, overly heavy with undersized 20 round magazines and unpleasant to use for warfighting due to its excessive recoil, whereas the M7....
the m14 was not overly heavy compared to rifles of the time nor was 20 round mags undersized (it was the norm) and the recoil was not excessive at all, it was the same amount of recoil infantry rifles had for ~60 years at that point. The M14 was objectively an improvement on the M1 Garand and a good all round rifle.

The p365 has had some issues in the past but not like the p320's.
The primary issue is the "shake awake trigger" due to striker failures which is also in a sort of ambiguous state as to whether or not it's been fixed. People have been recommending the Springfield Hellcat or M&P Shield 2.0 instead.

What striker issues have been reported after the first batch? I remember the 'primer smudging' problem but haven't heard or seen anything about it in years.

Yes and no.
A big selling point of the m14 (to congress) is that it could be made on Garand tooling. This obviously did not actually work, and the new tooling and production is one of the big failings of the m14 that everyone seems to forget. Receivers breaking off and that godawful flash hider being improperly mounted and causing zeroing issues are a large part amongst other problems of why the rifle is poorly regarded.

Italy however did manage to pull that off with their BM59, and in half the time as well, which should say something about the US government at the time.

While the m14 is better than the Garand, its a rifle that is one step in the past compared to its contemporaries, without any of the benefits that should have come with that. Its the worst of the battle rifles, by having none of the benefits of its more modern contemporaries, and none of the benefits of being an older based design either. There's a reason that people joke about the M1A only being bought by boomers.

I was mistaken, the hardened striker issue was rectified and in current guns probably no longer snap. The "shake awake trigger" is the trigger return spring failing(breaking) and either delaying the release of the striker or not allowing it to release the striker at all. The cope is now that the trigger return spring is a perishable part and I hope you keep tabs on your round count. Keep in mind that it's reported at ~10k rounds though some people haven't put 500 through and have experienced it so it's unpredictable.

If the ATF was a actual real agency instead of just finding ways to punish white people they would have a whole Instagram division that would do nothing but arrest black kids with glock switches. God knows the retards can't stop posting about it online.

I don’t care for the Hellcat or Shield - I like the ergonomics and aesthetics of my P365. I like not being shot in the dick even more. Reliability and finish on my P365 has been 100% zero complaints. Has there ever been a confirmed shake awake 365?

There's no worry about it going off without a trigger pull so you can rest easy, it's only when actively shooting and the spring breaks that issues come up.

And one with a dead trigger/sear that will not go off-

Just picked up a Marlin 60 from ye olde pawn shoppe. It's beat up, but I just dropped it off at a very capable gunsmith, and it should be ready to rip in a month or two. As an added bonus, I have an ancient Weaver .22 scope getting mounted to it as well. The squirrel population is on borrowed time as of today.

FPC LEGAL ALERT: The federal government has changed its position in a criminal case where it previously argued that suppressors aren't protected by the Second Amendment because they're accessories and not arms. The government now argues that:

1) "[T]he Second Amendment protects firearm accessories and components such as suppressors"
2) "[R]estrictions on the possession of suppressors burden the right to bear arms, and a ban on the possession of suppressors or other similar accessories would be unconstitutional"
3) The NFA is constitutional because it's "a modest burden" and not a ban
4) The 3-judge panel should rehear the case and correct its analysis, rather than going en banc

A "modest burden" is a bullshit way of saying infringement.

I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of laws and "law enforcement" are in place to suppress, needlessly burden, and artificially punish whites at every possible opportunity. For everything from drugs, to violence, to gun charges, to "hate crimes", browns are given a slap on the wrist at best, while whites are 100% guaranteed to get the book thrown at them for anything and everything. I saw a 4chan post screenshot a while back that explained that we live in an occupied state, and once I started viewing things from that lense, I have found myself inclined to agree. "Two tier policing" may be recently coined from Britain, but it's been official federal policy in America since the sixties.

Same, don't care for the Hellcat and the Shield Plus just isn't as good, IMHO.

Yeah the dead spring isn't great but thousands of tens of thousands of rounds is a LOT.
