An Absolute legend has for the past couple years been working on his own Ameli (Spanish 5.56 MG-42, it was in Call of Duty: Ghosts) inspired belt fed that he wants to release to the public via build plans
This is, as the text very clearly lays out, the old version that he scrapped because he determined it would be too hard for most people to build
Barrel and trunnion (uses AR barrels with a chopped extension)
Words from the designer's mouth
"I just wanna scream man, Ive been working on a cheap civilian-legal belt fed for 3 years, was gonna call it the AMELI-At-Home (AAH) last year when I had half of a milled-parts prototype finished but decided it wasn't DIY enough so I went and made a sheet metal/printed something or other and every turn took me down the road to MG42 so here is most of the mechanism for the MF26 (if I can even release it next year). It is entirely NON-bent sheet metal parts that bolt together, even the Bolt and Trunnion, FEA analysis suggests it will work in mixed 4130/AR500 parts. The worst part is that it uses a cut-down AR barrel extension but the rest fits together like puzzle pieces as you can see with the bolt"

Glock is asking $2k plus tax per rifle, so if these ever come here expect to be asked pay $5k for a rollmark (the same dollar amount gets you 2.5 SR-15 Uppers)
The Suppressor on the MCX is allegedly an unreleased Huxwrx dedicated .300 Blackout suppressor
"Um akshually that's their Range 36ti"
No it isn't
1. Looks to have long ovalish depressions as texture instead of raised ridges like the 36ti
2. Doesn't look to have the forward vents near the three protrusion thingies on the end cap (the 36ti has vents on the outside edge of the protrusion thingies, aligned with the splits and sides they have built into them)
3. I can't find the specific MCX-SD handguard in the photo but from what I understand those near universally accept suppressors up to 1.75in diameter. The 36ti is 1.6in. There would be a bigger gap
So unless this is a photo of a scrapped prototype or gen 2 36ti the claim appears truthful

Fun Fact: Boris Yeltsin lost his thumb and forefinger because he was playing with a grenade as a teenager, this guy was allowed to run an entire country btw.

PSA kicked Shield Arms' ass so hard in court they got their patents invalidated. This means that Glock now has no excuse for not making hi cap metal mage for slimline guns
Could anyone tell me what the first machinegun to use starter tabs was?
@Club Sandwich
Do you have any data/anecdotes on the effect cold weather(40F and below) has on machine gun barrel cooling and thus maximum rate of fire over X amount of time. Is this a factor to even consider or is the effect negligible?
