That's a great spread. I love lever action .22 rifles. I wish Marlin would bring back the 39A. I'm not the only one so hopefully they do at some point.

I'd love to see Marlin do to the 39A what they've done with their other lever rifle lines, like the 1895, and offer them in a more modern style with stainless steel, optic rail, and threaded for mounting a suppressor. Especially if the third-party companies who are making modern stocks and handguards make a set for the 39A. I'd buy the shit outta that.

I recently got a CC9 to replace my Hellcat 3" for concealed carry. Put a dot on it and realized I might just not be a fan of optics over irons. I'll probably put it back on after another one or two thousand rounds and try again though.

Absolutely love the pistol itself.

Interesting. How do they compare? Highly unlikely I'd displace my CSXE for anything with a striker (I currently don't even own any striker fired HKs) but my favorite of the striker micro 9s was the Hellcat. I like how the hellcat is the smallest of them and is basically a pocket gun with a flush 11rd magazine in it. I am kind of bugged at HK for putting a button mag release on the CC9.

RIP they’re gonna destroy them

Sad but true.

I have large hands, so being able to put the larger back strap on was a game changer in itself. Other than that, with minimal added size, it just shoots like a bigger gun (cliche, I know). Quicker target reacquisition, nowhere near as snappy, and just as easily concealed as the Hellcat with its extended clip. I do still have a soft spot for the HC though. Thinking of getting a supp for it and making it my bedside piece

There's no way whoever had this actually bothered to track down 6.5×50mmSR right?

Judging by the drugs in the picture, he was probably trying to sell it for more money to get high.
>bro it's a machine gun those are expensive we can get some more crystal!

Gotcha. I don't find any subcompact to be a "good fit" for my hands so I just kept what I liked most in the market with the CSX and what is smallest with the Hellcat. There are people out there still carrying meme guns like the PPK, in an era where you can get a smaller 9mm with 4 more rounds of capacity. I dunno about making the hellcat a bedside gun though, it's great for deep concealment without going to a more compromised cartridge like .380acp, but I prefer to have an easier to shoot, faster, full size at my bedside since concealment is not a concern.

Day of the MOP is here, realistically this is the death of all "sales" related subreddits.

(rampant retarded speculation)

after the banning of /r/fosscad a few days ago, it makes me wonder if they got Subpoenaed or something from a case like the luigi mangioni shooting? I don't really get making the change now otherwise....

Interestingly reddit announces the rule change on the 9th but the ban will come the 16th. I'm sure there will be an offsite at some point.
Quoting this here because I think it's more relevant to this thread. These people should've seen this coming, like Fosscad. My guess is they're left of center themselves and honestly believe(d) the Reddit admins would treat them fairly. Aside from not having a Reddit account, I never bothered to use GAFS and build up a reputation there because a ban was inevitable, better somewhere like Tacswap or a local classified market.

Odds are they'll move to Discord and repeat the cycle.

I really wouldn't say that, then there wouldn't be a need for /r/liberalgunowners,
Most were regular or right leaning.

0%, though I would love an offsite to somewhere better.

anyone here get the lima6? https://limasix.com/product/pre-order-lima-six-belt-fed-build-kit/

here is one in use, Guarding everyone's favorite Indian cult leader and bio-terrorist back in 89.
His cultists infected restaurants in an Oregon town to kill/ incapacitate enough voters to swing an election in their favor. nearly 800 people were made sick!

you may recognize him from some memes that made the rounds a few years ago.

If you depended on fucking REDDIT to buy gun accessories, that blows. I get it, there WERE good deals no doubt. But you 100% should have been on other forums too. AR15COM, AK Files, FAL Files, Tacswap, Local Forums, even FB groups FFS. I've legit found better deals and not had to deal with as much administrative bullshit on other sites. Again, sometimes there were some blazing deals on GAFS, but not anything better than I've found being on other sites. You're just comfortable/lazy and not looking hard enough all while feeding the shitbag of Reddit. I honestly hope all the gun shit there gets blasted not because I want there to be "less visibility" but because people need to be encouraged to get the fuck off that POS site as much as possible.

Bought an air rifle (wood stock version of course, it’s really pretty) for some indoors shooting at home now that winter is on the horizon. I understood it would come without the scope it had in all the pictures, of course, but I assumed they’d include some iron sights at least. But it’s just a picatinny rail. So I’ll have to wait for the scope I ordered to arrive before I can start playing with it. The biggest one I could find on the store, of course, a Walther 8-32x56. Which is apparently a pistol scope??? The mounting hardware it comes with is for 11mm anyway, so I also had to buy scope mounts for picatinny. Air pistol nerds are weird if this is the sort of scope they mount on their pistols. I get putting a scope on an air rifle, you’re shooting seated and it’s 100% about precision even at standard 10m, but on a pistol?

I did pump some air into the rifle and fire blindly into a hillside though, when you turn up the power it kicks harder than you’d expect for just compressed air. 47J doesn’t sound like a lot, but I’m guessing the air rifles I’ve shot in the past were at most a fifth of that or something. Got an assortment of JSB pellets and some slugs for it, going to be fun seeing what works and what doesn’t.

apparently a pistol scope
You might have trouble using that on a rifle. I've used scoped pistols for competitions out to 125m and pistol scopes are very different. They're intended to be held out at arms length so when you have them at a rifle's length of pull things get weird and the crosshairs/reticle will probably be out of focus, they also have a really short parallax setting. I've never done airguns so I guess they might be different. Parallax probably won't be a problem for indoor shooting and even at reasonable airgun distances but it's definitely something to keep in mind for rifles

You might have issues with that scope if its a dedicated pistol scope. Some pistol scopes are designed to be used a few feet away from your face when your arms are at full extension rather than a few inches from your face when like when you're shouldering a rifle. Its possible that it might be completely unusable while shouldered. Don't order any more hardware can't return. You might get lucky because some pistol scopes are for sexual deviants into benchrest shooting like the image below. These behave more like rifle scopes but might be designed with lower durability given the intended caliber.

I'm honestly surprised that it took this long. A part of me is still upset about it though because most of the other niche markets don't move as fast. I mainly sold gunsmithing tools on there and it's going to be a lot more difficult from now on. Due to the nature of old forums like weaponsguild or akfiles, the users there have been in the business for literal decades and have no use buying used tools/parts that they already have. The parts kits/fosscad reddits were nice because of all of the noobs I had access to lmao. Not sure how I feel about the incoming rapefugee wave tbh.

I do feel for the people who used it as a business page, I get that. It also depends what you're selling. I've posted stuff there and it just sits and sits. I go to AR15COM, AK Files or Tacswap and move the same thing in less than 6 hours. But also the opposite, shit will sit on those sites and move in minutes on GAFS. The gun market world can be weird.

Also, it WAS good for getting new people acclimated to it all. But like I said, Reddit is such a shit hole I think, in the long term, this can be a net positive. More people will go to Reddit to look up some gun info, get directed somewhere else to B/S/T, then they're pushed out of the toxic Reddit system of bullshit.

Eh, I made an account just to post on r/gundeals when I was looking for a 642UC since everyone else was sold out, and the people on gunbroker all deserve to live on the street with their bullshit prices. Got someone who had one in stock for a sweet deal and then deleted the account. I've definitely got better deals from Tacswap and AR15COM on accessories before, but I will give r/gundeals credit that their dealers are sometimes the only place to find out of stock guns if you don't wanna overpay some fag on gunjoker. Except my ACR, I actually got a sweet deal on that from Texas Gun Trader.

There are a few firearm related Discord servers that have BST threads that have already banned sales of actual firearms. It might be a ToS thing. Gear and accessories are the only thing that's kosher on such servers, think attachments, camouflage and night vision.
I'm honestly surprised
Me as well. Some of the more outlandish gun related subreddits got banned off Reddit around the start of Covid. I guess everyone else just figured they'd start to acclimate themselves to the new culture. Shame that they haven't realized that Reddit can't be pleased.
