Thanks for the warning. I think it is really a rifle scope, it just comes with pistol mounting standard for some reason. It says in the descriptions that it’s meant for field target, which seems to mostly be done with rifles.
And no worries, I’ve got customer protection. I can return anything I don’t like, even if I’ve damaged it with my incompetence.
I did also order a red dot, so if the scope doesn’t work out at least I’ll have one sight I can use.
The scope arrived before the rifle mount for it, so I put it on my air pistol.

Careful.
I wouldn't risk shooting that even as a gag.
Airguns recoil differently that a regular gun and can destroy a Scope not made to handle it.
Don't worry, I know.
It's an airgun scope (Umarex is Walther's airgun brand), and "airguns destroy optics" mainly applies to springers, which recoil weird. My airguns are PCP.

Decided to make the AUG even shorter. 14.5 pin and weld with a Huxwrx muzzle device. Excuse the shitty red dot on top, still trying to decide what I want for the top rail.

11.5 AR for scale. Even with a suppressor on it it still comes out shorter than it.

The Primary Arms GLx optic for my Franklin Armory F22 arrived today. I like it a lot so far. I think it'll be a great little optic for a .22lr. A nice alternative to red dots. I'm surprised at how long the eye relief on it. More like a red dot than I thought it would be. I figured it would be more like a normal scope to where head placement and eye alignment would be more crucial.

that's the one without any magnification, right? i really liked their SLx 1x i had on a 9mm AR and might end up swapping out the holosun 503cu on my AP5 with it for a little while. they're great for people with astigmatism; there's no starburst to the reticle. their magnified prism scopes need a close eye relief but i still like them as an acog for the everyman.

The Fat Niggers in the DC Poleece are being especially fat and niggerish as of late. Some dumbass who lives in DC went to a gun range (Silver Eagle) in Virginia where he brazenly tried dropping in an FRT (which the alleged lawyer claims in a post on /r/VAguns was a TURD, A Kabuto derivative) into a rented rifle. RSO didn't like that and the cops got involved eventually leading to a police raid on the guy's residence. The problem here is that DC NegroPolice are saying that FRT's are machineguns According to the charging document. A guy on reddit who claims to be a lawyer representing the guy had this to say.

Best photo I've been able to find of the KAC URX-6 Barrel nut and handguard retainer system, barrel nut secures the barrel in place, handguard slips over, barrel nut slips over and is threated onto the barrel nut and tightened up against a shelf in the handguard with a special wrench locking everything in place.

There's lots of hubbub in the 3D2A/FRT community over this new listing over on odysee, you see there are those who are screaming that this is a switch and not an FRT (very reputable people I might add). There are also those comparing it to Freedom Fingers pending M&P FRT. FFT's design has completely different geometry (there are also those saying that FFT's design in itself is a switch because there is at least one video with a S&W flat face trigger and prototype FFT FRT showing at the very least imperceptible finger movement, while in PSR's recent video you can clearly see his finger being forced forwards)

Is it a switch? I dunno. Is it a bad thing if it is? I personally don't think so. Anything that causes ATF to despair at the futility of MG regulation is a good thing in my book. Could Handgun FRT's cause a whole host of problems for regular FRT's? Maybe, but at that point it may may or may not matter due to market saturation.

Yup, just 1x like a red dot. It has a green reticle that is like the Trijicon horseshoe dot reticle, except it has a chevron aiming point instead of a dot, and then it has BDC hash marks under the horseshoe chevron that are not illuminated. I do have astigmatism, but I've never had issues with red dots before. I just decided I wanted something a little different from a typical red dot, and I like that the optic is still usable even if the battery is dead. And it was reasonably priced. I paid like $300 for it.

Yes. People should have their doors kicked down by armed ATF agents and sent to federal prison for a piece of plastic.

You're right. It's retarded. AR-15s should come select fire straight from the store.

It's the firearm equivalent of when blacks drive their Altimas with weed smoke rolling out of it and wonder why the cops are giving them a hard time. If you're gonna do illegal shit be sneaky - otherwise don't cry when you get caught.

I recently replaced the hand on a S&W revolver. The old hand was apparently worn enough that it wouldn’t push the cylinder completely into the cylinder stop - it would stop maybe a few thousandths short and could be manually turned slightly until the cylinder stop engaged. After much filing and assembly/disassembly I think I’ve got the new hand working correctly…mostly. It will rotate the cylinder fully until the stop engages on every hole, except one. On that one the cylinder turns far enough that the stop engages but then seems to bind up - the hammer can’t move any further to engage the sear.

Question is: do I keep filing on the hand, which runs the risk of ending up where I started; or do I try to file the one ratchet on the extractor star that is binding the hand - and if so where exactly do I file/grind?

their green prisms rule. my 1x prism has the BDC for a 9mm though there's never been a range near me where it would matter. i've read prisms have a hard time if you want to pair them with a magnifier. as impractical as they are with a 9mm PCC i sort of want one on the ol' MP5. i've also considered a larue quick detach mount for the holosun red dot and may go through with it if they hold zero when mounted correctly. it's all in the air right now.

While you're at it, you should file the firing pin down to convert it to full-auto.

I've got a LaRue throw lever mount on the Compact ACOG on my AUG A3. I like it. It's been solid as a rock the years that I've had it. The Kinetic Development Group Sidelock mounts are awesome as well, though I don't know if they'll work with Holosun.

IF TRUE, this guy was profoundly retarded
I'm so glad you included this random retards opinion in the screenshot. It benefits so much to the discussion.

Also "Drove to Virginia" from "DC" can mean as little as 20 minutes. Like Alexandria, VA is just south of the Potomac River. The range he allegedly went to is only a 45 minute to an hour drive.

You know what's profoundly fucking retarded? Every single gun regulation we have on the books. Defending government overreach coming from someone who claims on Twitter that they are "an anarchist" is hilarious. The range literally snitched on this fucking guy for no reason and now his life is permanently destroyed.

It's a piece of plastic. You can kill people easier driving them over with your car. If you support this little gay snitch behavior you are a fucking loser man.

If you're gonna do illegal shit be sneaky
FRT's are not illegal retard.
IF TRUE, this guy was profoundly retarded
It was naïve of him to think they wouldn't consider the FRT to be a DIAS but he's still getting fucked from something stemming from a boomer fudd not understanding the difference and dropping a tip on him.

Any kahr fans? I hear there name jostled about from time to time, hear the all stainless models are nice however all the pm models I hear are jam o matics with the exception of the 40s for some reason
