I don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.
Try a USP. High powers are cool to look at but there's nothing special about them, trigger is meh, it's bulky for the capacity and usage just like a 92FS. It's not like a 1911 where it's worth it to have just because it is so nice to shoot compared to almost anything else. I have Glocks, not M&Ps (had them for a long time), but M&Ps have much better ergos than Glocks imo.The exposed barrel, safety position and the lack of cocked and locked.
Definitely not a XDM.I don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.

The exposed barrel
If you shoot enough rounds through it, it can burn your hand. I shot two 30rd magazines through mine and leaned that the hard way.Why is this such a problem for you?
its great if you know what youre doingAnyone with experience with a Ruger M77 mk 1 care to share their thoughts on it?
Why? I had one but I sold it.Definitely not a XDM.

CZ75B unless you want something that isn't a service pistolI don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.
Guns get hot. What are you doing to burn yourself with it?If you shoot enough rounds through it, it can burn your hand. I shot two 30rd magazines through mine and leaned that the hard way.
Known for being low quality guns that break from low round counts. Why? I had one but I sold it.

Yet another piece of supporting evidence for my (almost certainly correct) grand argument that 6.8x51 EPR loadings can't penetrate quality body armor especially any considerable distance.AGPinochet tries to definitively with a relatively high degree of confidence try to settle the discussion as to whether 6.8x51 military pressure loadings with EPR Projectiles can consistently penetrate body armor at ranges where that actually matters / AGPinochet plays amateur ballistician armed with YouTube videos and extrapolations
My Hi-Power doesn't have a positive enough safety that I feel alright carrying it cocked and locked IWB, I'm eventually getting a spring/detent upgrade. It also has a very slim grip profile and similarly I'll be getting the Pachmayr wraparound grip. The exposed barrel, safety position and the lack of cocked and locked.
How’s the trigger? Good barrel? Smooth action? Good value? Anything you don’t like about it? I’m familiar with other bolt action rifles, but I was raised in a Browning household. I’m not that familiar with Ruger rifles.its great if you know what youre doing
Probably because when I did it, I didn't know any better? Now I know why that's a bad idea. Why are you grabbing the barrel while racking the slide?
Yes.Are semi automatic versions of the Uzi, Mac 10/11 even worth it? I think most uzis are $2k+ which I think is high
I'm begging you, even if you don't really like it all that much please don't sell it. I'd like one eventually but the 700+ dollar price that I generally see makes my stomach turn. Maintain it and pass it on to your own kid or niece/nephew. That being said if you want a new every day carry you cannot go wrong with a glock 19, M&P shield, or a CZ75 like other posters have mentioned. Just up to you depending on your price range and what you think looks the coolestI don't like my 92fs. What should I replace it with? I'm thinking a Glock, XDM, M&P or a High Power.
