Perhaps you can get away with shooting the animal ammo, but the surplus 100% requires cleaning on those naked barrels, it's all horrifically filthy all the same.Zastava absolutely chrome lines their barrels on new production AK variant rifles. If you mean old yugo era milsurp, then no, I don't think they did it back then; my buddy has a Yugo SKS from the 70s and it isn't chrome lined.
See above. I haven't held their handgun, but new production Zastava AKs are the best bang for your buck on the American market right now, hands down, even if a lot of boomers remember when you could get an AK for 100 bucks. You can either spend double on an Arsenal, or you can save a couple hundred bucks and get a WASR that actually is pretty bad.
What in the world are you talking about? I shoot (insert animal) brand and absolutely do not need to clean and lube the barrel after every range trip.
Also, the WASR 10 is perfectly fine, the newer ones don't even have the mag wobble issue they used to have. I would sooner a WASR that I can fix/replace parts on than a boat anchor Yugo that I had better be happy with out of the box.
