Thanks for the PSA regarding the RXM. The problem with all of this modularity and aftermarket parts is having unforeseen consequences. I remember seeing a video recently of a modified Glock that would fire if you aggressively inserted a mec gar metal Glock mag into it.

Similarly the Triggertrech ACE trigger defeated some of the internal safety features.
that caused that issue IIRC.

but did you like the icarus grip?

I do like it because I’m left handed and it’s the only way to reverse the mag catch. Short sighted on Magpul and Ruger’s part to not make it use a Gen 4 style mag catch.

The texture of the Icarus is very aggressive, which I sort of like for a match gun, but I wouldn’t want to carry it.

I have to commend you for your ability to filter the aggresive banter and be a perfectly tolerable contributor on here.

they look sick and like they're great to shoot but that price tag as well as potential problems like yours make me nervous. did you pick the icarus frame over the sharps?

I don’t recall if the Sharps was available when I got the Icarus. I think it was the first.

Given the other problems I’ve seen and heard of with Timney Glock triggers I’m going 99% blame Timney and 1% Icarus. The Icarus works fine with the OEM trigger.

A colleague had a Timney Glock trigger run away on him at about 10k rounds and put 3 rounds through his hand. Similar circumstances: went to clear a malfunction and it went BRRRRTT. He was very lucky in that he fully recovered after surgery and physical therapy.

I had a few other Timneys, I have removed them from all of my guns and replaced them with Glock Performance Triggers in the actual Glocks.

Costs a good bit more than an American Ranch but I was thirsting over a Savage 110pcs in 300blk for a bit. Bolt action pistol with a rear pic rail for a brace or stock. Takes AICS mags instead of AR15 mags which is a plus in my opinion since AR15 mags kinda suck in bolt actions (hard to chamber a round when the mag is full) but that's mostly personal preference.

Just a toy so I couldn't justify the cost, if it was something I 'needed' for whatever reason I'd probably just grab a Ranch and deal with the larger size
This may be sort of a dumb suggestion, but maybe the Rossi Brawler .300 Blackout?

Yeah, it's a break action, but it's got the requisite threaded barrel and no reciprocating bits. It's also hilariously inexpensive.

I've got the .45/.410 one and while it is colossally stupid, it's a super fun range toy.

Also, apparently this is a thing.

Back from the range, I handled a .9mm Glock pistol. This range allowed me to adjust the distance between targets. The Glock had more recoil and noise than the .28mm. It was harder to shoot beyond 6 yd. I felt I was doing worse than before because of it.

The pair of Chinesium plates have arrived, they are very thin and lightweight. Pretty feasible to conceal them.

I will be testing them against repeated hits of 9mm and .357 mag since I don't yet own a .44 mag for a true 3A test, but very cool if they hold up I'll get the forbidden chinesium ceramics level 4 plates. (It's literally these same HDPE plates + an aluminum oxide ceramic front), will record the results and if I'm feeling sillymaxxing I might make it a tribute to Cokeman1488 faggots

Ik this is pure copium but I was talking to a couple of my buddys a few days ago about if the Hughes amendment will ever be repealed.

I left IRTV and resigned as brutality matches director at the end of November.

Since then dozens of my posts from the last 2-3 year were deleted from the sub Reddit and a number of videos of me have been deleted from the channel. I did not request any of this.
It sucks when good faith contribution or effort is zapped because mods and dickriders are virtue signaling & seething, but I was absolutely unsurprised about the whole thing. In any case though, welcome back.

Whoa whoa whoa, they may release 9 million iterations of the same gun, but it's a great gun. I've bought and sold 5 Glocks and could never get over their dogshit mushy triggers.
I built a P80 G21 (PF45?) a few years ago having never owned or fired a Glock and was shocked by the trigger. Convinced I did something wrong I had a Glock fanboy friend look at it and he said nope this is how they're supposed to feel. This one was better than most actually. Trash.

Boomers with million dollar collections will never let that happen, but the availability of FRTs means that for now, it doesn't have to.

It’s never going to happen because normies aren’t comfortable with the idea of machine guns and nobody that’s not brain broke by ideology wants YN’s in Atlanta to have access to machine pistols.

One step at a time folks. Let’s get the hearing protection act passed.

Hehe but not every gun has a FRT and tbh pure full auto should be the end gial

If HPA doesn't pass by Nov 2026 it'll never happen.

Now for more M7 retardation

SIG is having a cut more and more material out of the M7 to get the M7 PIE edition (which again the US army still hasn't officially adopted)

Drops the folding stock, titanium heat shroud added to the suppressor and the USMC is still loving their M27 IARs (HK416s) so now the US military can have MULTIPLE calibers on service rifles. Oh and USSOCOM is still happy using 5.56 and is looking at 6.5CM and 6.5 LIC rounds (both of which fit into 25 round mags with the same footprint of a 30 round Pmag.

I really hope the M7 is quietly shelved in 18 months

It ran away? Like, did he ground it and it got pissed off or something? Did it tell him he's not its real dad before or after it shot him?

I was totally talking about myself here. I have 5 of the things already. What's one more?

Niggers will collectively start paying their bills on time and replacing the battery in their smoke detectors before that happens.
If HPA doesn't pass by Nov 2026 it'll never happen.
I mean, it's a non-zero probability but you and I both know how this will play out.

For fuck’s sake. Can we just toss this thing and Ron Cohen into a volcano already?

There's damn near nothing you can do about it too until you start clipping springs and other janky shit. Those trigger bars everyone shills are fucking snake oil.

Yes, this is true but it doesn't bother me for two reasons:
  • not everything needs to be full auto, up to and including service rifles
  • the weapons which are actually useful pretty much all have FRTs or AR-15 trigger pack + FRT kits available
From a purely "well organized militia" standpoint, the Hughes Amendment is dead. I'm not saying that everyone shouldn't have the chance to dual-wield FAMASes if they want to, but as far as dissuasion of tyranny (the purpose of citizen-owned arms) goes, things are really looking up. And more types of FRT are being developed every day.
