I dont get people who still buy Sigs after the whole P320 issue, like are you fucking suicidal, they let Jeets make the trigger mechanism parts in the guns.
Sig USA was never good, they've been riding off the name of their unaffiliated counterparts across the lake this entire time.

Kel-Tec is teasing a new charger-loading gun a la the PR 57, but this time chambered in something else.

Current responses are retards who forgot about the PR 57 and think they're making a C96, but it's probably just the same gun in 9x19.

Their looks have gotten worse over the years IMO

It's sleek, utilitarian. Brutalism in gun form. Function and form combined into one aesthetic. I actually quite like it and would buy one for a good price. It was cool to see Mulder with it in season 1 X-files when all the other cops and characters had S&W gen3s, S&W and Colt revolvers or PPKs.

It's loud. It's busy. It's got shit all over it. front serrations which no one ever uses. Plastic sights, Which on the gen 1/2 was sorta cool as a cost saving and futuristic thing but now its gen 6 and 2026 and just wtf are you doing ghost of gaston? only thing this piece of shit is missing is speed holes in the slide for no reason to be a 100% hype beast race gun. It's fat and ugly and I would not have sex with it.

Gen 1 is timeless like the 1911. Gen6 will dissappear into the miasma of glock clones. It looks like a glock clone! I can't explain why really.

this meandering rant is over.

And to think that in the Fallout universe Gaston Glock uploaded his consciousness into a super computer to keep designing weapons after his mortal body expired, and developed the GLOCK 86 Plasma Defender pistol. This is truly the worst timeline and we gun owners are suffering for it.

Which other ones have “much better triggers?” The only one that was noticeable to me was the Walther with the performance trigger.

The Walthers are probably the best striker fired pistols available, at least with out going to some $5000 boutique pistol, but the HK VP9 has a better trigger as well IMHO.

That's a gen 2 not a 1.

I didn't even know these existed. Do they still make them new? If not I'm not risking a Sig.
They still list them on the website.
Otherwise I don't know.

The SP2022 is basically a poly framed 229 and were made before everything went to pooville.

Not gonna lie you could replace the glock example with car design and everything you said would be 100% true. Look at a new Lexus or land cruiser or bronco, they're full of bullshit angles, bloated, chock full of plastic parts, loaded full of computers to feel "futuristic", etc. Now compare that to those same models of cars back in the day, much more sensible. And if designs were trying to show off back then it was easier to the eyes because they kept things long, wide, & low and just lathered some extra chrome on.

I’ve shot the vp9 quite a bit and the trigger isn’t something I even notice being different while shooting.

Looking more into that Roto 12 Semiauto muzzleloading shotgun. There is a pistol variant that is essentially the mauler from halo 3. This thing fucks.

What is the legality behind really stretching the concept of a black powder gun?
i.e. a bit of googling seems to suggest that black powder ammo with a metallic case is classed as a firearm, but self contained paper or combustible cartridges are fine.
Would black powder caseless ammunition be legal? Can you have a self-loading black powder "gun" that uses caseless ammunition? And if in theory you made the black powder revolver shotgun mentioned above full auto, would that be legal? I do not know much about US firearm law so it would be an interesting area to look into.

Imagine being able to order a full auto, 3D printed, G36 that uses black powder caseless ammo to your door with no FFL or registration.

What is the legality behind really stretching the concept of a black powder gun?
Black powder guns that do not accept conventional and/or commercially available cartridges(which only includes pre-1899 cartridge guns using esoteric or experimental shit absolutely nobody makes for sale) are not required to follow traditional federal restrictions such as barrel length or overall length on top of being considered "antique" in function and not requiring a license to ship or receive through mail and no permit to own in most jurisdictions.

Basically "Fuck you ATF I have a pocket shotgun" is the end goal of things like revolving shotguns, Howdah reproductions and the big interest in black powder revolvers.
ETA: Caseless repeaters are being printed and prototyped but I don't know if anyone feels like asking the ATF if it's kosher to mail order those yet.

I like two things:

Ryobi tools

And putting guns in unconventional places

So I have merged the two to my great pleasure.

My foam cutting job probably could have been better but I'm satisfied with it.
