Apparently CMC drop in triggers inspired his design. For reference this is a CMC AK trigger.

"Select fire capability" I genuinely wonder what he means by this

Ordered some upgrades for my MWS308: a new Surefire Scout Light M640 Turbo, one of those Ryker grips that mount to the left side/9 o'clock M-LOK slots and have a built-in pressure pad to activate flashlights, and one of those Gascap USB-C Scout Light tailcaps. Going to swap the Cloud Defensive OWL to my AUG A3. Haven't decided if I'm going to get an aftermarket M-LOK mount for it. I might get one of the quick release mounts from Kinetic Development Group for it.

fellas, i started looking up some of those neat little fiber heat resistant covers you put on a suppressor and i got annoyed at some of the 175+ price tags going on. it's a metal condom and an oven mitt. i don't want to get some chinkshit, but if it means i can unscrew the can while it's nice and hot i might get one of the bullshit ones off amazon.
Honestly covers aren't great at unscrewing and handling hot cans. IMO they are really only good at stopping mirage or minimizing burns from a slung rifle.

I always have one of these curling iron silicone covers in my range bag.

I use it like an oven mit or just slip it over the muzzle of a toasty gun so I can go straight home.

"Fire sleeve", "welding blanket", or "panther felt" are common DIY cores for a cover. I think most the cheaper amazon covers use the fire sleeve.

Expect the trigger packs to be registered as machine guns so the local SWAT team can stealthily assault crackhouses and clear rooms with their full auto VSSes.

What gets me is how smug they are and in this case write as if removing a weapon that was legal in 45 other states in the union at the time somehow saved someone's life.

>25 dollar Amazon optic I wouldn’t put on airsoft.

I for one am glad this trash is off the streets and I hope the monster who owned it is doing hard time.

Stay tuned for more episodes of Agreeing with Liberals for the wrong reasons.

Dedicated VZ.61 FRT
How much of this one is being driven by the need for plausible deniability so we can finally unleash our rewelds? Just watch, the day after this thing is announced they will have already miraculously sold, shipped and installed 5,000 of them across the country.

XM203A1/2 6' or 9'oclock bayonet mounts for use with M203 grenade launchers. Used by at least one private purchaser in Iraq
The Geiselle pic-rail bayonet adapter has been cloned for $30. Still overpriced but better than $150. Plus there's a Valentine's Day sale on super-stabby things in China apparently.

So work bonus came in and I decided to go ahead and add a PDW type thing to the pile. Ordered a 6.5" 9mm CMMG Dissent along with a light, irons, extra mags and a folding brace (for now - it'll get an actual stock+stamp later). I already have a dot that doesn't have a home, so that'll go on as well.

Hoping everything is here by the weekend. I was considering one of the MP5 knockoffs, but decided that I'd rather have the superior AR manual of arms.

Next stop is a 9mm can.

I have a suppressor cover from Burn Proof Gear. It works as advertised in that it'll allow one with gloves on to be able to remove a rather hot suppressor without serious burns. I don't recommend these types of things because as you noted, fucking expensive, and I think their use case scenarios are quite limited.

Let us know how you like it once it's in and configured the way you want. What dot is going on it? Might you use it as vehicle PDW?

Suppressor covers should be considered absolutely mandatory for owning a can. The can wrap is cheaper than the trip to urgent care you’ll inevitably make during the honeymoon phase with your can.

Looks like Gforce is bad even by turkslop standards. How awful is the quality if dropping the frame can cause the barrel to rotate (2:04 in the clip)? Is it even threaded to the receiver or just glued in place?

[edit] Not to mention the firing pin breaking after ~600 rounds, that's worse performance than probably all Ring of Fire firearms.

we could power NYC with the rotational energy from John Browning's grave rn
properly heat treating a gun and threading a fucking cap surely can't be that hard for manufacturers right? if they fucked up that bad it's a total waste of machine work cuz those old designs require a lot of that. unless the reciever is (shudders) CAST. Only niggas that can pull that shit off without fucking it up are Ruger
Are the Brazilian Rossis any better than this POS? asking for a friend

NYC far worse. nerf guns are illegal there. that whole state also inadvertently banned PGO shotguns & muzzleloading muskets by redefining the definitions of shotguns and firearms yet does not enforce against either of them so even the most diehard fudd types are in a grey area of being technical felons at the whims of whether the PD wants to be assholes and ruin someones life that day or not. state AWBs are a fucking scourge onto humanity because they pass these laws and let nobody else know which inevitably leads to stupid shit like 90 year old women going to prison for having their husband's old rusted out .32 S&W in their nightdrawer. yet obviously the people out there committing real crimes doing deranged shit dont give a fuck. washington state is a shithole too and virginia is about to join the fun. its fucked up but the places in Europe with good gun laws are better in that regard than places here with shitty ones and the people that do live in states with good firearms laws dont give a fuck because of "got mine" syndrome.

>Linear striker
Now listen, Matt Larosiere has met Brice before he endeavored on this ill fated VSS Project. Said he was an absolute moron who didn't understand that for HK roller guns Bolt Gap was an entirely different think than Headspace. But I genuinely think it's seriously possible that he's not mis-speaking and he genuinely thinks all VSS's are striker fired instead of using a linear hammer. Then again, his phrasing is odd, what other kind of striker is there besides a linear one?

I wonder how much of a shitshow of a legal battle one could get into the ATF with by selling and marketing reloadable "threaded plug" (such as above) captive piston ammunition (which the ATF determines to be a silencer) for a proprietary firearm because I would say there would be a 50% chance that ATF would chimp out at people reloading ("repairing") them but that would mean the ATF would need to seriously argue in court that bullets are "silencer parts"

$0 tax stamps make this viable economically

OTs-44 integral suppressor baffle stack

For as servicable as Russian firearms designs are, they are terrible at designing suppressors. Hexagon loses a bunch of internal volume to the alignment rods, Zenitco makes rifle cans with aluminum baffles. They could easily copy American designs but their civilian sector mainly copies the European designs (which are nowhere near as advanced as ours)

One of the Primary Arms ACSS MD21s for now. Might swap to something else later, but I've generally had good experiences with those. It's probably going to spend its life primarily as a fun range day blaster, as a bag gun in a Grey Ghost Gear Gypsy pack or sitting around as a home defense item.

In an ideal world, I won't have to use it in the latter contexts or as a vehicle PDW, but it seems that nothing is truly off the table these days.
