Honestly covers aren't great at unscrewing and handling hot cans. IMO they are really only good at stopping mirage or minimizing burns from a slung rifle.fellas, i started looking up some of those neat little fiber heat resistant covers you put on a suppressor and i got annoyed at some of the 175+ price tags going on. it's a metal condom and an oven mitt. i don't want to get some chinkshit, but if it means i can unscrew the can while it's nice and hot i might get one of the bullshit ones off amazon.

Expect the trigger packs to be registered as machine guns so the local SWAT team can stealthily assault crackhouses and clear rooms with their full auto VSSes."Select fire capability" I genuinely wonder what he means by this
Cali cops showing boxcutters in their evidence brag photos like they are bongland police is a new low.

Looks like the ring of fire guns are still haunting California streets in 2026

What gets me is how smug they are and in this case write as if removing a weapon that was legal in 45 other states in the union at the time somehow saved someone's life.
How much of this one is being driven by the need for plausible deniability so we can finally unleash our rewelds? Just watch, the day after this thing is announced they will have already miraculously sold, shipped and installed 5,000 of them across the country.Dedicated VZ.61 FRT
The Geiselle pic-rail bayonet adapter has been cloned for $30. Still overpriced but better than $150. Plus there's a Valentine's Day sale on super-stabby things in China apparently.XM203A1/2 6' or 9'oclock bayonet mounts for use with M203 grenade launchers. Used by at least one private purchaser in Iraq

My review of the Palmetto Saber AK is up on RECOIL web
Have you tried the rear sight leaf red dot mounts? I'd rather put one there than on the gas tube with an ultimak or equivalent. My review of the Palmetto Saber AK is up on RECOIL web

I have a suppressor cover from Burn Proof Gear. It works as advertised in that it'll allow one with gloves on to be able to remove a rather hot suppressor without serious burns. I don't recommend these types of things because as you noted, fucking expensive, and I think their use case scenarios are quite limited.
Let us know how you like it once it's in and configured the way you want. What dot is going on it? Might you use it as vehicle PDW?So work bonus came in and I decided to go ahead and add a PDW type thing to the pile. Ordered a 6.5" 9mm CMMG Dissent along with a light, irons, extra mags and a folding brace (for now - it'll get an actual stock+stamp later). I already have a dot that doesn't have a home, so that'll go on as well.
Hoping everything is here by the weekend. I was considering one of the MP5 knockoffs, but decided that I'd rather have the superior AR manual of arms.
Next stop is a 9mm can.

we could power NYC with the rotational energy from John Browning's grave rnLooks like Gforce is bad even by turkslop standards. How awful is the quality if dropping the frame can cause the barrel to rotate (2:04 in the clip)? Is it even threaded to the receiver or just glued in place?
[edit] Not to mention the firing pin breaking after ~600 rounds, that's worse performance than probably all Ring of Fire firearms.
NYC far worse. nerf guns are illegal there. that whole state also inadvertently banned PGO shotguns & muzzleloading muskets by redefining the definitions of shotguns and firearms yet does not enforce against either of them so even the most diehard fudd types are in a grey area of being technical felons at the whims of whether the PD wants to be assholes and ruin someones life that day or not. state AWBs are a fucking scourge onto humanity because they pass these laws and let nobody else know which inevitably leads to stupid shit like 90 year old women going to prison for having their husband's old rusted out .32 S&W in their nightdrawer. yet obviously the people out there committing real crimes doing deranged shit dont give a fuck. washington state is a shithole too and virginia is about to join the fun. its fucked up but the places in Europe with good gun laws are better in that regard than places here with shitty ones and the people that do live in states with good firearms laws dont give a fuck because of "got mine" syndrome.Cali cops showing boxcutters in their evidence brag photos like they are bongland police is a new low.

Apparently CMC drop in triggers inspired his design. For reference this is a CMC AK trigger.

Yugoslavian SSU Underwater handgun, used cartridges that function like captive piston ammunition.

One of the Primary Arms ACSS MD21s for now. Might swap to something else later, but I've generally had good experiences with those. It's probably going to spend its life primarily as a fun range day blaster, as a bag gun in a Grey Ghost Gear Gypsy pack or sitting around as a home defense item.Let us know how you like it once it's in and configured the way you want.
