*"VSS" trigger on meth*
I'd be surprised if that trigger actually works reliably. Cramming parts into a small space and getting them to work is usually not that easy. Actually, why is he even doing that? I can't see any reason to replace a perfectly good linear hammer.

>Linear striker
Now listen, Matt Larosiere has met Brice before he endeavored on this ill fated VSS Project. Said he was an absolute moron who didn't understand that for HK roller guns Bolt Gap was an entirely different think than Headspace. But I genuinely think it's seriously possible that he's not mis-speaking and he genuinely thinks all VSS's are striker fired instead of using a linear hammer. Then again, his phrasing is odd, what other kind of striker is there besides a linear one?
On second thought, this idiot just doesn't have an idea what he's doing, does he?

European designs (which are nowhere near as advanced as ours)

Not sure where the best place to post this is, but GunCAD Index has started geo blocking NY and CA. I can't post the screenshots from my visits on a vpn for some reason.

It's been that way for awhile IIRC. It's a "cover their ass" move because those states are highly litigious against anyone operating in the 3D2A community.

On Feb 6th the state of California launched a lawsuit against The Gatalog and various other associates

My thinking is, though you could probably ask in their Matrix chat at #guncad-index-general:matrix.org, there would be no basis on the state level if the website itself isn't even operating in their state. This is a tort complaint from the state of California. I ANAL or whatever but that's just my guess.

Edit:

I just realized one of the people they are suing is Fudd Busters :story:

LoLz like the information can't be accessed some other way.
Agree, but it should be fought like hell. The Gatalog and Gun CAD Index are wrappers for content hosted on the distributed file platform Odysee.

There should be zero (0) friction in accessing a site that is entirely US legal. What's to stop a ideologically motivated DA from launching a tort complaint against something like KF on the same basis? It's very much an identical situation. Extrajudicial bullshit that goes so above and beyond anything else.

Finally got my fucking ammo after a month of waiting. First time I've ever fired an AR, 120 rounds down.

ARs are fun as fuck, even in shit nigger indoor ranges, buying more ammo RN
Next on the list is a bag because fuck lugging around my hueg ass case, then more ammo, a sight, and more ammo

Holy SHIT that's a lot of ceiling panel strikes. Out of curiosity, what is the primary demographic and gun choice of the people who go to your range?

That’s honestly normal. I worked as an RSO in an urban indoor gun range in a major city in another life. Your average customer is loathsome nigger cattle that will make you question your absolutist takes on the second amendment.

Ok you got me there, B&T is like the one good Euro suppressor manufacture with A proven track record
Anyone know who the dev is
Think it's a tranny

So you can rent guns now

I for one am amazed that anybody thought this was a solid business Idea because there is nothing stopping someone from renting a gun, killing someone with it or using it is crime and then returning it. Straw purchasers WILL use this for illegal arm sales, they're letting people rent fucking Baretts for less than $300 daily. A Mexican gathers up 10 junkies to rent 10 Barretts and he's secured 10 Barretts for less than $5000 and can flip them for like $100k across the border. These guys are going to get sued into oblivion because this looks real bad in a court room even if all would be renters have to pass a 4473, this looks terrible. Even if they're never found liable attorney fees will bankrupt them.

Well before the first homicide someone will kill themselves and they’ll realize they’ve lost the gun forever and then get sued by the family.

I know I'm gay and have no training or credentials etc etc but why is no one using the side mount on ak's anymore? Is it the nightvision optics or something? I know some (mostly just lemon grenade) had foibles about the rail moving and losing zero due to receiver flex on stamped guns, and possibly losing zero when removing the optic and or mount for cleaning but I've never had an issue? I've been using an old ass SAR(no redeem)-1 since 2008 for deer hunting and never had an issue with the side mount. Now I am not running 2k rounds through it weekly like everyone apparently needs to do or else you can't hit anything at the 50m 2 gun competition but over the years of blasting at trash I have put roughly 10k cheapo steel case wolf rounds through it and other than the zero shifting a tad with my failing and aging eyes it has stayed completely zero'd the entire time. Looking around online for a couple seconds seems to confirm that the side mount is g2g as long as its installed correctly, but I don't have much experience beyond a sample size of 3 imported vampire country aks. Feels almost like its coming from the continued trend of autistic tier detail niggling I've been noticing in the gun "sektor" post covid.

but why is no one using the side mount on ak's anymore?
Minor difficulty with removing/attaching the dust cover, traditional folding stocks are blocked by the mount and most notably it's difficult to align the optic with the barrel even with "high quality" mounts and as we all know if something isn't perfectly parallel it will cause autists to scream.
