but saying things such as you need to shoot 300 rounds/month for that proficiency is ridiculous to me.
And in the spirit of deescalation it's a matter of fact that plenty of grandmas have fended off home intruders and even killed them. You indeed can suck at this and be okay.

The point I'm making is that you should approach shooting instilling good habits and correct technique and that all it takes to be good at this is quality reps employing those fundamentals. Doing that is called training right? So it is a disservice to people to say that some element of proper technique doesn't matter. They all do.

Regarding the shooting schedule, some of this stuff is perishable skills and if you don't stay polished you'll start regressing. But, to be fair, regression can be cured.

More is always better, but being realistic about what's attainable is less likely to make someone's eyes glaze over and proceed to ignore you. Letting your shit sit in the closet for years and expecting to be just as proficient as the last time you went shooting isn't an acceptable standard in my eyes, to be clear.

I have now shot a couple thousand rounds of 32gram out of my semiauto Hatsan Escort PS guard, the vast majority of it admittedly alongside friends doing Hélice shooting.

The only type of malfunction that I've seen has been a failure to cycle where it ejects the spent shell and it locks back without the shell going all the way back, this has only happened with shorter shells, I've only done a couple hundred at a time without cleaning, I haven't tried super light shells but I'd expect them to lack enough gusto to actually cycle as reliable, though that hasn't been my experience only others. (Heavier shells cost the same so the juden inside me always buys them for the extra lead value)

The shotgun definitely prefers heavier weight shells but reliability has been pretty damn good if kept relatively clean and "lubed" (I just clean then spray WD-40 down the bolt and trigger group like a proper boomer) I'd say about 1-2 per 4 boxes, sometimes less but a conservative estimate of 2% is a fair assessment.

It's now replaced my old Mav88 and I'm very confident in my ability to decapitate a nigger with 00 buckshot out of pure instinct, plates or not.

So I took my 300 to a normie range, I swiped my trigi. This old faggot said it was a trash gun. OH Sorry, your DPMS is worth less than my glass.

I HATE boomers so much it's unreal.

My dad tried his hand in the 80's loading .38 wadcutters with a Lee loader. RIP dad but your reloads sucked, pulling squibs every twentieth round or so is a PITA.
He just didn't know how to use it right. This instructional video will teach you everything you need to know about handloading.

As much as roman name big iron poster has fanciful ideas about shooting, he has fascinating and deep knowledge in his lane. I can appreciate that and you don't see me hassling gun enjoyers. I don't fuck with people who are right, but I am more then happy to jump down the throat of people who are just wrong and wafting their ignorance towards mailable minded new shooters.
this is like hearing your family arguing and randomly hearing your name mentioned.
Used to run a New Frontier until I fried it
this new frontier will never let you down:

I feel like 1 1/10th oz is a good middle ground for small game shooting. I tend to shoot it a lot in my game guns. both smokeless and black powder. just works.

you guys will appreciate this,

local gun store started doing Suppressors on 4473, after the 3rd one they realized that if they get audited any time soon they might be fucked and stopped. So they are just dipping their toes in the Felonies.

AFAIK a lot of the stores who were doing the Suppressors on 4473s got a call from the ATF (local branch) basically asking politely for them to wait for guidance. (which is rumored to come out Monday if not very early this week).

Most have complied (for now).

You have to imagine the complete clusterfuck the ATF is ATM. In Theory for most states in the union, any company can pay 25$ to become a member and treat suppressors like regular guns.
And there is no infrastructure to handle those exact kinds of transfers. Gotta be a complete cluster fuck.

but being a nitride barrel
What's wrong with that?
one Centurion
I hear they make good stuff. I'm considering a 12.5" upper with a mid gas system. Worth looking at them for that?
Wait...smoke detectors beep?
Yes, and super fucking annoyingly when you forget about your french bread pizza in the oven.
You are, you keep posting walls of texts doing such. It's clear you're nothing more than an online ooperatoor
I knew I'd find autism in this thread but damn, you take the cake.
I wouldn't say it makes one an operator but hasn't he seen combat in the GWOT?
Telling people they need to spend $120 a month to even be worthy of owning a gun is asinine and self defeating.
That's not what he was saying. He was telling you to git gud and you're being a big old fag about it.
Can I interest you in something with a slightly longer barrel on it? Perhaps a PWS MK109.
I swiped my trigi
...what does that mean? Are you alright? Do you need to see a doctor or something?

All that aside, I got some trigger time on two CZs that I hadn't handled before, the P-10 C and a Canjunized P-09 F. The P-09 was excellent but I gotta tell you all, the P-10 is fucking outstanding for being the price it is. It'll easily surpass a Glock or an M&P. If you're looking for a new, inexpensive carry pistol give those a gander.

Some more footage of a Pedersen device being fired (along with tons of gasses venting through the magazine interestingly enough)

In my area only the big stores who have silencer shop kiosks or inventory are accepting GOA members for 4473s, some of my friends who own smaller shops are being called pussies or bootlickers because they won't do this. So they redirect them to the bigger ones who may be breaking the law. If I wake up tomorrow and see that what the bigger shops did was wrong I'm going to laugh so hard. They are probably going to have to call each person and beg them to come back in to do it right, but even then audit wise they are fucked

What's wrong with that?
Literally nothing "wrong" with it. Nitride gets a bad wrap as a lining as a whole because people can't comprehend how shooting cadence is almost impossible to factor into barrel longevity across the general population.

But chrome is the vastly superior lining for a gun that is going to be in a combat zone, not only for the heat properties but also from a barrel durability to environment standpoint.

I would email them directly and ask what size gashole they drill for the 12.5". If Monty says it's custom for a 12.5" barrel go for it. If they say milspec skip. BRT would probably be the only 12.5" I'd trust to be easily tuned out of the box. And after all, what are we really getting over an 11.5" barrel?

hasn't he seen combat in the GWOT?
No.

Heh, I didn't want to tag you directly incase you were trying to read around the bickering. I was just trying to point out I'm really not trying to be a know it all ass.

I've recommended the P-10C to a few people including new shooters if they want an inexpensive striker fired pistol and something they will never spend a cent on changing. It's a fantastic pistol for it's price point, though getting spare parts and magazines gets annoying. For example the 17 round magazines are always out of stock everywhere I look. The only reason why mine fell out of favor with me is didn't have an optics cut and the price of getting an optics cut (from a reputable gunsmith) is half the price of a brand new P-10C so might as well get the new pistol.

I want to get the P-10C ported with the Aimpoint COA but I'm tapped out on discretionary spending money right now.
