What's wrong with that?
IMO its not an issue for guns with easy barrel changes like the AR15. Certain firearms have a practical limit to the amount of barrel changes they can undergo during their lifespan so its better to opt for chrome lining because it can oftentimes last for a few thousand rounds longer. Anything with a press and pin barrel like AKs can only have the barrel swapped so many times before the pin hole begins to egg out or the pin channel no longer lines up so you have to ream the hole up a size. After doing this operation multiple times you lose the ability to set head space without drilling dangerously close to the chamber. In this situation you want a long lasting barrel because every swap operation permanently damages your rifle especially if its done by an amateur with limited tools.

If your rifle requires nothing else besides an armorers wrench and a torque meter for swaps then chrome lining is more optional for you. Its up to you to decide if the increased price is worth the marginal stats boost. Nitrided barrel isn't a kilt in da streets issue

Gun provenance is always one of my favorite things. Picked up this Martini Enfield (Martini Henry chambered in .303) the Arabic had me a little worried this was a Khyber Pass copy, turns out it's legit and Egyptian!

A number of these rifles were created in Egypt (particularly the Citadel Arsenal) and provided to Egyptian soldiers and police. The word stamped into this rifle uses the Egyptian (Masri?) borrowed word for "police" pronounced "buliis"

Took it to a gunsmith this afternoon and he gave it a pass so I can't wait to put some rounds down range!

Just ordered ported barrel. I hope they loosen the restrictions on manufacturing suppressors soon so I don't have to pay 2k on a sleeve to go over it instead of just trying to make one.

If you are a covered plaintiff in SilencerShop or Jensen and your state doesn't require NFA registration for ownership to be legal then you can make one right now.

Big recommend for the next one. PEPR mount is appreciably nicer then Monstrum and not $300+ like the Reptilia.
i would, boner, but i went el cheapo with a BSA scope and the monstrum. it already weighs enough with all the bullshit on there, even more with the obsidian 9, and this .22 is really just to make me smile and for target practice. if you happen to know of any better pistol/scout scopes that are adjustable, not like three hundred bucks, and isn't just the 2-7x BSA i'm all ears.

I like the witness mark the last person that had the barrel off put on the action and barrel so you can time it right.

The 1301 is damn hard to beat, especially one customized by LTT.
It feels really, really nice even when it's stock. But the Chisel stock looks like canceraids.
All they had to do for an upgraded M2 is open up the loading port and maybe give it a larger bolt release, turning it into a gas gun just makes it look like they were told to rip off their sister company.

I've just realized that the Bersa Thunder 380 CC is the ONLY slim DA/SA with a decocker still in production.

If they would just very slightly widen the inside of the mag well, they could probably fit a stack-and-a-half 10 or 12 rounder in there and have what could be an amazing carry gun. Slightly change the slide to be capable of an optic cut and add a light rail and it'd be the last handgun I'd ever buy.

[The CZ P-10C is] a fantastic pistol for it's price point, though getting spare parts and magazines gets annoying.

I've shot the shit out of mine, I really like it. I got a chance to shoot a bunch of peoples carry pistols at a training session recently (we were swapping around). Even though there were some properly Gucci guns a lot of the Glock people said they really liked the grip on the P10.

I will say after playing with a few pistols with them, I am now a convert to the flat faced trigger. I recently got a good deal on a used P-10F with a flat trigger and its 👌👌👌 - it runs 19 round mags and they fit in the P-10C, you just don't have that snug baseplate against the magwell.

You can buy sleeves to avoid over extension for the P-10F magazines on the P-10C; likewise for P-10C in the P-10S.

I just want a goofy fuckoff can twice the diameter of my handguard that will actually muffle supersonic blasts, is that so much to ask for?
In the era of 3d printing and hybrid ti/inconel cans there no reason not to have big beautiful light weight rifle cans.

I'll take a Pic of my print 762 tomorrow. It's glorious.

I think the verdict may still be out a bit more then you think on all this new suppressor tech, particularly how long do they resist fowling. A suppressor loses effectiveness as it gets dirty, and these hyper optimized performance light weight cans haven't really been on the market long enough to establish a proper reputation.

I suspect that one company either already has or soon will strike gold with the breakthrough right way to give duty grade longevity, flow through tech, and excellent performance, but until there is a clear winner among all these sudden startups from the last 10 years I'll probably stick to yee old baffle tubes or the Velos.

Thankfully I got my can before this whole fiasco and finally got it put on my m16a5 project build. The m4sd II from griffin probably isn't the best suppressor but its basically a clone of the gwot era knights suppressor and attaches to an a2 birdcage so it fit what I wanted. Running it with a rifle length gas system has been nice as it seems the rifle length needs less tuning that my carbines or even my one midlength gas system rifle. Even with 0 tuning at all it runs almost perfectly gassed on the full length gun.
