What kind of shit-tier white people are you that you didn't read Mein Kampf when you were an edgy teenager?
 
mein kampf is longer than fucking war and peace and twice as boring anyone who reads that shit all the way through is a lolcow
 
I like that idea. It might make reading it a bit less bothersome. The replies here are really funny because I once tried to read it as an edgy, super-leftwing teenager (thinking it'll give me ammunition to destroy all the Nazis that didn't actually exist anyway with my superior knowledge of Hitler) and then zoning out because it's boring, meandering nonsense for the most part.

I'm on Chapter 3. Maybe its because I read historical documents all the time and they are always boring, but I don't find that boring. It is VERY long winded though.
 
I'd join out of morbid curiosity, unfortunately I'd rather not risk getting on whatever lists because Europe still had wheezing PTSD about nazism.

Perhaps if somebody rewrote it in the style of My Immortal, it wouldn't be too illegal.

Yeah, it's a little too verbose for my liking. It is interesting though to see the state of mind Hitler was in when he formed his ideology.

ehhh, not sure. I'll have to look up just how legal it is to even read that book in my country. I'll keep you updated!

I'll also keep an eye on this thread cause it's bound to be interesting!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. From what I understand it's mostly the re-printing/publishing that's illegal. Ownership or reading it technically shouldn't be illegal (other than the legal issues with 'stealing' copyrighted material by downloading it, but the copyright ended in 2016 anyway). But bare in mind I'm not a lawyer and I don't know where you live.
 
Yeah, in general, the distributor of pirated materials is technically doing the illegal act, but if you are the one receiving the pirated materials from the distributor, you're safe.
 
For some reason I was dumb enough to download a copy, although the edition I got was annotated, meaning that the authors took great pains to point out exactly where and how Hitler was full of shit, they occur on average in every paragraph. Check it out:

I once read the first few chapters of the unannotated edition, god was that brick so fucking dense and tedious it was like navigating through a minefield. Eventually I used it as fuel for a bonfire, good times.
