I'm not sure how relevant this is to the current topic at hand, but I just saw this thread and realized I knew LexyEevee fairly well in the late '90s and early '00s. When I first encountered him, he was going by "Alexy"; I don't think he adopted the LexyEevee moniker until around 2001 or 2002.
To avoid doxing myself, I won't go into a ton of detail about how we met (we knew each other well, but we weren't friends and strongly disliked each other), but his first online community was the #animorphs channel on Espernet, which he's mentioned in passing
a few years ago. Espernet was a fairly small IRC network at the time with a significant furry population, but not in the sense that there were overtly furry communities - it simply had a large number of users who happened to be furries.
Espernet also had a large number of underage users who existed alongside the adult user base. #animorphs was one of the channels that was almost exclusively underage, but due to the small size of Espernet, there was a lot of cross-pollination between channels. As a result, many pre-teen and teenage #animorphs users were exposed to #agnph and its less wholesome members when the latter channel was founded in (I believe) 1999 as an offshoot of the original alt.games.nintendo.pokemon.hentai newsgroup.
As both AGNPH and #agnph (the newsgroup and IRC channel, respectively) grew in popularity, the communities started to attract older furries, some of whom were openly pedophilic. The combination of sexually curious minors and deviant adults led to the kind of sexually-charged environment that, being the early '00s, managed to fly under the radar of both parents and law enforcement. Many of the underage users of #animorphs also came from unstable families with negligent or absent parents, perfect targets for sexual predators.
It wasn't uncommon for teens of any age or gender to be solicited by adults three or four times their age (and also fellow teens) for cybering, trading nudes, or meeting in person for sex. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least a dozen former friends and acquaintances who ended up in some sort of real-life sexual relationship with another Espernet user; however, these were almost always between either two teens supervised by their confused parents, or between two legal and consenting adults. The only exception to this of which I have first-hand knowledge is what happened to LexyEevee.
Alexy was a cautionary tale on what can happen when kids are allowed to use the internet without supervision. As I recall, he was 11 or 12 when he started getting propositioned by older men, first cybering with older teens, then trading photos. I don't know the exact path he took after this, but he apparently got involved with some predatory adults; whether this was on Espernet or another community, I can't recall, but I do know that he somehow convinced his parents to let him go to his first furry convention when he was 13 or 14.
Either his parents let him go by himself or didn't supervise him at all, because by the end of the first day of the convention, he had engaged in unprotected anal sex several times with multiple adult partners. He later distributed photos of himself that one of said partners took in a hotel room; the photos depict Alexy fully naked and copulating with a Charmander plushie.
The point of this story is to shed some light on why LexyEevee seems so nonchalant about his support of pedophilia and child pornography. It becomes a bit less surprising when set against the backdrop of his own sexual history. (It should go without saying that none of this excuses his abhorrent behavior - I'm just providing some background that I haven't seen elsewhere in this thread.)
