The only things that could have possibly been doctored is the Discord and IRC chats, but that's pretty much it, and that isn't as interesting or relevant as her Twitter spergouts or simple criticisms of Floraverse.

It kinda pisses me off, frankly, how many people think all of the shit on this forum is lies and taken out of context.

I've been following Glip's artwork since at least 2011, so I remember a lot of the shit brought up in this thread for myself. A lot of the proof, a lot of the context, I can verify it as having happened because I either saw it go up or caught the aftermath when it all happened. It's not lies. I had to stop following her work because of a lot of it, and finding this thread was nothing but validation for how I felt about her. I know my memories of this person aren't wrong and this thread backs that up. I'm glad I found it.

It is gaslighting. I don't think people are really falling for it outside of PK's base, though, and even that's slowly being chipped away, if the fact that we're still getting people joining for this thread is any indication. Floraverse's reach certainly isn't growing by any stretch of the imagination.

"Floraverse" and "Melanie Herring" in Google both have this thread on the first page, and the latter has her Lolcow Wiki page as the fourth result. The second autocomplete result for "purplekecleon" is "purplekecleon drama". She can deny her fuckups all she wants, but she can't hide from them.

I have to agree. I've been following Glip since 2012 (?) starting as a big fan during her PMD-E era that slowly began backing away around the time Floraverse started.

Even when I was a fan, I was genuinely surprised at how revealing she was about her personal life on her Tumblr. I won't go into it since it's been touched on by the thread, but I remember when she first complained about Pengo and the con in this huge tirade, and when she was upset at Marl and Eevee, and talked about childhood sexual abuse... etc. She didn't have a filter back then, and I would say she may have a semblance of one now since she knows this thread is around, though that isn't saying much.

There's no reason to try faking screenshots. The way she acted even before I found this thread made me wary, and the way she acts in all of the screenshots is consistent. Her Twitter seems to be a constant flow: a week of "positive" vibes, then the next week of tweets about KF being bad and/or Angry Opinions about something else. She's openly rude to people on Twitter and her chatrooms - in public spaces - all the time! Why would anyone put the effort into doctoring them?

I was an ex fan as well, and someone that didn't even really turn my opinion on PK until a few months after the Pengo call out, nor did this thread have anything to do with my shift in opinion. My shift in opinion is what made me find this thread. Claiming the things posted in this thread are doctored is a desperate defense that only those who are desperate to defend her are going to latch onto.

I'm not entirely sure why people are so keen to defend her? You can be a friend to someone without trying to cover their past mistakes and pretend their current ones aren't happening. You just end up part of the problem in enabling her continued shitty behavior or acting like it's justified.

It's no different than her attitude toward critique. Everything is an attack, everyone is out to get her. She refuses to change or acknowledge where she's gone wrong at any point, past or present, and that's why this thread is 512 pages long. I've been lurking this thread for a couple days now and this last bout of public spectacle finally made me join. Count me into the "previous fan turned very, very sour over time" club. I've followed glip since early PMD-E and sided with her in drama over and over again, but the past couple years I've drifted away from the cult-like community that's grown up around her and realized just how fucked up it is. I doubt I can say anything that hasn't already been said in this thread but just... fuck, it's so nice to learn that I'm not alone in feeling frustrated and concerned and angry at her and her partners' behavior.

One of the main reasons I even sought out to read her kiwifarms thread was because there's absolutely nowhere to express any kind of negativity about floraverse, because as recent logs show they've pretty much got a vice grip on any critical discussion anywhere, even for shit as benign as saying you don't like a certain character. I was floored by the way she reacted to that comment about Alice. Even rape accusations aside, I was always under the impression that Alice was written to be pushy, impulsive, and rude. Jackie even calls her out on it several times. But to see glip get THAT upset that someone doesn't like Alice makes me think that she genuinely doesn't see anything wrong with how Alice behaves.

This thing with the character design diagram is just dumb as shit. I think what bothers me the most about the post itself is that she just copy-pasted the male creature design instead of doodling out a different monster for the female. I think that's why most people are reacting so poorly too-- it's like she's saying there can't be any difference at all between male and female characters, which I'm sure is something she would argue for too but doesn't even seem to be the main point of the picture. Love how she bitches about not being able to express her opinion on an account of 11k+ followers too. What did you think was going to happen?

PK has excommunicated people from the Church of Floraverse for much less than discussing the times she's been a shitty person. Besides, these people don't want to be her friends. When PK comes across a label she wants to use, like asexual or autistic, she's more than happy to talk about how 'nebulous and nuanced' those labels really are so she can justify applying them to herself. Consider me another ex-fan for the count. I was even in PMD-E for a little bit, but I was too naive to really notice how fishy the group as a whole really was. The Pengo drama and her reaction to it all was what really drove home the insanity of it all for me, you know?

Slight off-topic/late I guess but I do remember when PK and co. booted that person with the white Zorua from their group. Funny part of it was, Zorua guy was the same one who later made that huge list of neo-pronouns that PK later reblogged making fun of (unfortunately, this is the only link to it I could find).
