I imagine she was probably experimenting and considering changing her art style at the time due to the shitstorm that happened. Nevertheless, some of these designs are more charming than her usual style.

A lot of these feel like she jumped on some bandwagons. I know the Maya/Inca style has been going around, and everything else feels derivative of various Japanese art styles, especially in the shading/coloring. An old dog doesn't really learn new tricks, after all.
Well. We correctly predicted they'd try to get back in the saddle eventually, but I expected the storm to die down a bit more first. I'm happy to have been wrong. Watching Tweedle Dee and Dum continue to word-vomit their nonsense while also trying to get the Floraverse plane back in the air, is pretty priceless. And the cherry is the overwhelming number of done-with-their-shit audience members this time 'round. Cheers.

gp/pk doesn't realize that people have been empathizing with her for years and that that is why she is judged so very harshly. people put themselves in her shoes constantly and then say, "wow, so much shit happened to you. but it doesn't make it ok for you to be nasty to everyone else." she gets plenty of compartmentalized pity from people for what happened in her childhood because people empathize with her.
These are actually quite good. The regular animals might be some of my faves i've seen from her ever.
there is a mexican person (woman i think?) who goes by mona robot who has been studying mayan art and bringing it back to the spotlight with her work. she has tutorials for some of it on her patreon. there's a strong possibility that glip got ideas and inspiration there.

Does Glip realize that like.... people can choose not to associate with them specifically because they just don't want to? Like, not every person who's blocked you even cares about KF or your callout or whatever, it's not some hivemind conspiracy going on when people don't want to be around you. Even if I didn't firmly believe you were a pedophile and a zoophile, you are at the very least a very uppity, rude, argumentative person who doesn't like to be held accountable for your actions in general. None of these tweet floods help their case. With every single one pk or eevee will say some new dumb shit that makes them look even worse.
"Eevee knew for nearly a decade that i was in an abusive relationship and did nothing isnt that so sweet" no, it really isnt, it's dumb as hell and sounds like a total lie considering he was defending marl from other accusations of being an abusive creep just earlier this year.

Additionally, you can have empathy for someone without liking them. I have empathy for pk and her shitty childhood, and for apparently being groomed from a young age into someone who normalized shitty things and got into bad relationships with bad people. I still dont like her and think she's a manipulative asshole who only gives a shit about herself. Empathizing doesnt mean you give someone a free lifetime pass for asshole behavior

The cloud of negativity and malaise around her is a big part of what drives her fans to find this thread. Just reading her social media is enough to paint a very, very ugly picture of her as a vindictive, self-obsessed degenerate. It's the same behavior going back years and years without any sign of improvement or willingness to change, despite all of the preaching she does. It's totally understandable that people wouldn't want their dashboard flooded with a deluge of woe-is-me posts from her almost every day.

Everytime Glip posts a Twitter thread, all I see is a poor horse that's been beaten to death by the end of the second tweet.
Overall, it's pretty presumptuous on her part to suggest that people who are not sympathetic to her and her situation are overall not sympathetic/empathetic people. Abusive relationships are hard and they do a lot of damage. But Glip is sure as hell no pure victim here; she gave as good as she got, and you can see it in the way that she tries to spin her stories.

Honestly some of these are really cool! It does notice that she actually put some effort on these, I'd really wish that this style would stick to flora or anything instead of the mess she usually posts
I personally always thought that empathy is simply figuring out why people do what they do and feel for a shitty situation they are in. Then help them work things out.
Not just believe them because they say so.
Example: You are not being empathic if you trust that a axe murderer is innocent because he says so, when he's holding the axe over a bloodied dead body. (Extreme I know, makes the point though)
PK is wrong with others not being able to see in and empathize with emotionally abused people. Usually it's other people who tell the abused person "Hey, that's not healthy!" (Almost like the people here kept doing, huh. Go figure)
It's usually the abused person who doesn't see it right away and thinks that's just how it belongs.
Most here feel sorry for PK going through a shitty childhood and empathize with her over that. However, just because someone was abused does not mean they only tell the truth and all and every negative aspect needs to be simply set aside to feel sorry for the person. You can have a shitty past and still be a horrible person.
It would be nice of PK could follow her own words however. Let's rephrase the last part...

...weird how PK can spin a narative to tell people that they should trust her no matter what, just for it to show that PK has not been following her own teachings.
As someone who is extremely empathetic I can tell you it's not hard to be empathetic. Empathy is being able to feel sorry and feel the emotions of the other person, GLip can't do that at all. Glip claiming "it's about listening" is laughable as well because she refuses to do that with every single victim and person who ever disagrees with her.
