... to those of you who celebrate it. I hope that you have a wonderful time with your loved ones, or at least have fond memories of when you did.
At both ends of the earth, the aurora arcs across the sky with a beauty that is all the more powerful for its lack of purpose. Many individuals across three countries will be fortunate to experience the power of totality as the moon devours the sun, and the indescribable glory of the diamond ring as the moon spits the sun out of it's mouth.
Most of the tragedies of civilisation have occurred not because people are fundamentally evil, but because people are fundamentally human.
It has been my sincere privilege and pleasure to sneed with you all. No matter what the coming year holds for our little forum, never forget that someone, somewhere, is talking shit and that there is not a single fucking thing that porn crazed eunuchs can do to completely silence the rebellion.
