I now suspect that Maya is actually Ocean Redux as well.
This is something I started to suspect and look into too, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that links them. Their style of writing is very similar, running in the same circles (OceanRedux was a mod for Kumite, big donator to Metokur, donated to MATI until roughly the time the thread went up, hung out with PaulyFrog and the like), similar behaviors (Ocean enjoys negative attention from Poast the way Maya enjoys negative attention from Twitter/this thread), and similar interests in anime. Mackiavelli13 connection too as Ocean and ol' strawberry-head exchanged nudes that came out during one of the leaks (ChudBuds or Poa.st) - both Mack and Ocean were Kumite mods.
I think the potential connection is worth more scrutiny. It would be funny if it turned out to be true as Ocean Redux was somewhat of a pet lolcow for me, I really enjoyed their crazy nonsense. For those not in the know, she is a young British(?) woman who has a lot of money, moved to America, allegedly has a fatal kidney disease, pays people to be her friends, spends her days getting drunk/high while posting to social media & paying people to watch anime with her (text only, never voice chat that I saw), and is the originator of the tampon backpack story that Dear Feeder falsely attributed to Pippa Pipkins. For those who need reminding that's where Ocean had a date so she took her backpack with her, forgetting she had placed old used tampons within the backpack, worried that her date could smell the stench (they could).

Not in their defense as that anime is literally animated child porn, but it was also the "meme" anime for a while. If someone asked for anime recommendations it would often be the one suggested, similar to how people would meme "Two Girls One Cup" or "Lemon Party". I think it was popularized in this way after Mumkey Jones did an Anime Review episode on it. It's usually more of a meme suggestion than a serious one. It's still creepy but it's not really like a Boy Soprano where it is obscure enough that there isn't another viable reason why someone would know about it.
Great job on all the research everyone, especially finding the source of the profile pic. I asked this at the beginning of the thread but if anyone knows any secret archives of old Kumite, please share with the rest of the class.
