Will it be better or worse than The Binding of Isaac?

I was just talking about this on Twitter but this game really is sort of a litmus test to see how politically brainrotted you are and if you can enjoy anything anymore.

It IS weird that a guy who gave Internet Historian shit for having too many Nazis in his comment section doesn’t seem to have much of an issue with Edmund McMillan being friends with a bunch of edgy Newgrounds people and guys like Matan Evan.

I wish there was a way to disable the cameo cat meows because some of them are really distracting.

I also wish male cats only had masculine vocals and females had only feminine vocals, half the time a female cat has a male's and it's more confusing than anything when trying to pair cats up in the house.

Also the cats can have gay cat sex

Which is fucking weird

Having fun so far despite not being really into strategy games. The Cat Fight! Cat Fight! song goes hard. Kinda wish it was on tablets, seems like it would be a perfect fit for it.

Ed has teased more future development for Mewgenics, saying in an AMA thread that he might drop a DLC next year, and since the original game pitch had phones in mind the odds of a mobile port are probably pretty high on their list. But after checking a recent interview he said it might be difficult to fit the UI into phones, hopefully they manage a workaround.

I'd pay extra $10 for Silksong if it triggered these people somehow

Get the steam deckTM or one of the other 20 handhelds with troonlux/microsaar

Don’t worry guys, we already have gay culture war stuff going on over the game!

Excuse me?

Also I have no idea how to play this game. I heard you unlock stuff that makes it easier to breed good cats later, but that requires soooo much grinding. 25 retired cats is insane to unlock the next tier.

As things are right now, I go on an adventure, half my retired cats kill each other, I get one of them to breed if I'm lucky, and then I get to donate one or two and then I'm left with mostly just shitty strays for the next adventure.

Imagine culture warring over a game about cats going on rpg adventures

At this point though I'm convinced people like Grummmz only post that stuff to get leftists to say stupid shit (Like they were doing with Funny elf anime a few months back)

On one hand its funny but on the other, just let them dig their own graves man they're retarded enough

I'm really enjoying the game so far, but then I love FFT and XCOM EU/2 so it's right up my alley. I haven't lost a run so far, but if I do I'm not going to worry about it because it feels like a "losing is fun" sort of game.

This game is really good and I'm having a good time so far. They thought about everything, you can be punished by save scumming and the game speed option is an amazing accessibility feature. I was also surprised by the tactics of the radical RAT (:lossmanjack:), on my second run he didn't bother to set up the bombs and started to pelt my Fighter with those until he was dead. :jacepout:
"CATS CAN BE GAY, CHUD."
The game is fun, that's what counts. Those people are irredeemably retarded. :story:

Ok 8h in this game gives me Darkest Dungeon vibes; after they patched the fun out of it.

I'm stuck unable to collect basic resoruces and breed cats to progress because I have no basic resources and the cats I get are trash. So I play over and over again with generic boring cats without making any progress and my cats keep dying and I make 0 progress whatsoever.

It's like DD where one defeat sets you into an endless loop of inching progress to catch up. It's like an endless snowball of defeat after defeat.

I can't gather any resources and progress because the progress is halted by my lack of resources if that makes any sense.

Tutorial is unskippable BTW

You dont need an extra room for an effective breeding program. Just throw 2 cats into the attic and bring down the kittens. Cats, after breeding, become more likely to breed with each other so you dont need to worry about inbreeding until later (which also helps with breeding since you can throw the Habsburg kittens to the character who'll give you cat info) If you really want a second room just run alley 7 times and and youll get the house in a few hours (with a few cats as insurance)

I figured it out lmao, but thank you. I started the game late last night and didn't realize the attic was a second room when I unlocked it.
