He's the guy who collects the remains of your cats. Only appears when you lose a run so presumably you never did.Who the hell is the guy to the left of Steven? I saw him in the fake credits and the Rift, but he's just ??? to me
Huh, funny that the game accounts for thatHe's the guy who collects the remains of your cats. Only appears when you lose a run so presumably you never did.
In theory, the game is built around you succeeding most of the time, but sometimes RNG just fucks you.Huh, funny that the game accounts for that
Max level he can salvage furniture/rare furniture boxes and meteors. In theory, the game is built around you succeeding most of the time, but sometimes RNG just fucks you.
Upgrading him, as far as I can tell, does near-nothing to salvage a lost run. At best, (at level 2 for me), he offers one item, along with money or catfood (both which I dont need) from the lost run. Nowadays I level him by feeding him dead cats from my fight room lol.
Exit the fight before doing anything if they rolled depressing and shuffle your items around, it should reset their modifiers.Any thoughts on the good kat fight phase of the creator?
Imo its alright on lower difficulties but complete horseshit on impossible
The trick is getting at least one cat to go first. I found the most consistent strat is to have a cat with an instant kill move/gun and have them go firstExit the fight before doing anything if they rolled depressing and shuffle your items around, it should reset their modifiers.
I don't find Crater Maker hard, but I can agree they are a pain. They are much more of a threat when you don't know their abilities, though you can always guess for devour.Spoiler: spoiler-laden thoughts
From what I know of people who've lost the fight, keep in mind:Also, Pyrophina is coming. Am I supposed to know something in advance or it's simply a fucking dragon that's gonna burn everything?
I would've rather had Pyrophina but I hate the Moon so much. Also wich side are you kiwis? Pyrochad enjoyer or Cuckratana fan?
What the actual fuck? When was did that happen? Because as recently as last week (maybe two weeks ago?) I had to savescum at the lab since that asshole got "we are one" and the fight slowed to a crawl (then my fighter went berserker and killed my hunter before exploding so it was unsalvageable)Y'know how all the classes have minibosses themed after them? Arthur's the Jester equivalent, and untilGaylelGlaiel nerfed his Metronome pool he had access to every class spell in the game, including the aforementioned Split The Atom, We Are One, and Become Entropy. Now he no longer has access to those.
The Arthur nerf was around March 18, so that encounter probably happened right before the update dropped. What the actual fuck? When was did that happen? ...well, depending on who you kill first, there's a literal nuke attack. So be weary of thatChubs and Nubs can be a pain but as far as I was aware, they are blind so they just kinda attack around. One of their retaliation isn't even that bad because its a lobbed attack I believe. Boris hasn't been too bad for me, but I'm sure that can change.
I swear to God their AI has moments of brilliance, 'cause one run had Chubs locking in and repeatedly aiming for my Cleric (only avoiding heavy damage because there was some tall grass nearby)....well, depending on who you kill first, there's a literal nuke attack. So be weary of that
