I agree with the UI thing but apparently the next upgrade Tink has for me is "a way to help organise cats" so maybe that's an intentional early game issue.
Edit: turns out it was just stickers you can put next to their names. Probably useful if you categorise each kitten when you first check them out, but not game-changing.

Initially yeah, but once you have a couple extra rooms and furniture you can get a system going. Comfort makes them fuck, Stimulation improves what they inherit.
Right now I have a fight club in the attic for strays and kittens (to help push the comfort down so they'll fight) generating injuries for the retard kid to sell more furniture; a pre-adventure waiting room for good cats; and a heavily decorated fuckatorium for retirees that consistently spits out kittens with all 6s and 7s and often a trait or starting move. Anything under a 5 either gets flushed or stays in the death pit.

Although they're starting to get a little inbred. Which would be fine, the doc wants the fucked-up ones. Except that every single fucking non-stray cat I have now talks like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I can’t believe how insanely good of a concept it ended up being to make a Turn Based RPG about cartoon cats.

Like it’s a traditional design element to have friendly fire in a Turn Based RPG, or for a unit to get scarred/stun. And that can be infuriating when you’re immersed and pretending you’re controlling fantasy soldiers or whatever. But cats swatting the shit out of each other it makes perfect sense.

I’m excited to see if Slay The Spire 2 can challenge it for Indie Game of the Year.

The ? Cats are actually useful if they have good stats. Cats with ? can impregnate and get pregnant, so you can aim to make it breed with any cat of your choice.

@Null I was wrong, you should have fully covered for Chris so Edmund could have you meow in his cat indie game. :story:

I’m also laughing that they’re seething because Edmund is send tweets promoting Emiru. Mewgenics is my GOTY so far (not saying much because it’s February) but it’s going to be “GOTY for generating butthurt.”

The desert wasn't much an issue, besides maybe the facing being a bit finnicky. The boss is pretty neat though.

Now, the bunker, that's some real shit.

Holy shit the bunker was tough. The bishops are so tough. Lost one cat to getting one shot before I could even act. It feels like they are minibosses, acting like 3 times before you do, ON TOP of a stun chance. Maybe my positioning was shit, but they were kicking my ass. Lost my archer to them fast, which was party because my necro's zombies love eating corpses. Then the final boss, what a shitshow. Fortunate that you only need to keep the cultists away from the back, but it was not a good time. Went to like the 11th round, and lost my cleric. Got really lucky my tank had so much HP and my Necro could keep resing corpses to keep up minion count. It was pretty close though, currently can't see myself getting to core with that in the way. Guess I'll need to do some grinding, haven't done any quests. Will also have to see if the other route is as tough.

Edmund has been trolling for years, he doesn't give a fuck, he has FUCK you money just from Issac.
 
I love Edmund (as you can probably tell) but sometimes I feel like he's going to get his own thread here someday...
Great game by the way, though it can be a bit grindy, especially if you fuck up and lose all your cats and death spiral.
 
I don't know about you weirdos but back in the day it was pretty hard for me to play the cow level of Diablo 2 when I had no idea about the political/moral successes or failures of the guys making the moo-moo sounds
 
This is game of the year, hands down. I've just unlocked the stage 2 zones. I know that I'm gonna spend a lot of time on this.

Btw, "boykisser" is in the name pool. Meme or not, it's disgusting and that cat is gonna get tossed the moment I see it. I'm not even gonna bother giving it to the right vendor for rewards. Straight into the trash it goes.
