Right, as well as which tradition are we talking about here? They never agree on what theoretical year it should be, or where, or what class they would theoretically be. Are these guys longing for the days of pederasts, where some creepy old fuck would sodomize them into manhood? Are we talking 300 years ago? 800? 3000?
They don't appear to understand that the village elders did not just hand every loser his very own 12 year old girl to rape, just because. They don't appear to understand that in Ye Olden Thymes, due to malnourishment, a girl didn't actually start her period until she was 18 or older. They don't appear to understand that most dudes were 27 year olds who married 22 year olds 400 years ago in most of Europe. Or that you couldn't actually get married in a lot of places until you'd finished an apprenticeship, and that after that, some guilds actually required you to get married to be able to fully ply your trade in the first place, because it would be a waste on a single dude, when it could be supporting a man with a family.
Basically, they appear to think that they'd be Sir Bangsalot, in some sort of might-and-magic scenario, where all the girls look like Sansa from Game of Thrones, and there are loads of slave-ladies for the taking, and if you go to war, you just boot some dude into a pit with a monster at the bottom, and all the Persians look like Orcs.
And that is not even counting the dudes who are on some sort of Christian orthodoxy idealism train, who are, themselves, actually atheists.
