Most MGTOWs don't actually want to live a traditional life. They don't want to have to pay the bills, or raise a family, or even to have a partner. What they want is the World's Best Waitstaff: there when you want something, gone when you don't, pleasant and agreeable to your every request but only a name on a tag, to be forgotten as soon as you walk out the door.

Yeah sometime around 2014-2015 the right-wingers got involved with the "MGTOW community" and it turned into pro-tradition, pro-conservative, pro-family nonsense. 2013 and earlier the guys who were into it made legit observations about the way that men and women generally behave, now it's just dudes complaining about either "western" or "modern" women.

MGTOW theories and alt-rightism/conservatism/traditionalism are completely opposed. The earlier guys made it clear that for traditionalism to work men and women need to be in some way coerced or shamed, it's a fake mode of civilization.

I definitely agree that it's shit now, but that's mainly because of right-wingers/conservatives. Pre-sandman era guys like stardusk, barbarossa, and spetsnaz were delivering legit theories.
