My Story

In my twenties, I had a live-in girlfriend whom I worshipped like a typical blue-pill simp. Unfortunately, the only thing she worshipped was the money I was bringing home with me. I'm legitimately curious about this, since a book like this just seems so unlikely. There's a couple ways it could go. One is that it's bog-standard financial advice recycled from Dave Ramsey and the like, but just marketed with MGTOW buzzwords. Maybe the author infiltrates other groups like anime or sports fans and basically repackages the same book, but targeted at them. Alternatively, it's not even real financial advice, but just full of referral links for investment schemes, MLM programs, or straight-up pyramid scams.

Or maybe the whole thing's legit and some MGTOW really did retire early to southeast Asia (note he never says which country) and documented the process, and there's legitimate advice here written particularly for MGTOW, using all of the obnoxious buzzwords. In which case, good for him and good for anyone else who's able to follow his program and live a happier life rather than just whine about feminazis on the internet.

I'm not about to drop $9 to find out, though.

Since women can legally enter into contracts without the prior approval of a male household member, they can negotiate loans and mortgages as well as sign up for utility services. That takes care of housing, food, financial security, etc. Stores sell the same products to women as they do to men. Power tools allow women to compensate for weaker physical strength when doing home maintenance-type stuff. Ladders aren't made for men only, and so on.

Of course, not every woman is interested in higher education, financial independence, fixing their cars, or doing home maintenance and repair, but the options to access the necessary elements for those things are available to them.

No woman in the West needs a man to survive, just as no man in the West needs a woman to survive. We need each other to raise families and for the companionship, emotional support, and true intimacy that make life infinitely more enjoyable.

that's the core of what mgtow types are so mad at - the state has replaced men in all their primary functions in society, and thus turned them into useless, disposable surplus, while still depending on men's work to keep functioning.

Women aren't taken care of by the state, given that education and employment are open to citizens regardless of gender. And since women are in the workforce, their labor contributes to the social safety net which is accessed by men as well as women. Do these guys think that there are no men on government assistance? Or that no women work?

It's certainly true that women no longer have to depend on the males in their households to provide the necessities of life. That power dynamic has changed fundamentally. But instead of realizing that the women's rights movement was essentially about enabling women to have self-determination over their lives - in essence, WGTOW - they choose to see women's independence as damaging to them because it diminishes their own 'value' in the eyes of potential mates.

What they fail to understand is that not being an arsehole who treats a woman as nothing more than a hole to rut into would go a long way towards them finding girlfriends. Women tend to have strong 'creep detectors' and a lot of these guys give off that 'chain them up in the basement' vibe.
