Most of them are just bitter spergs like their fans, but the more prominent ones realize if they actually did teach effective stuff about self-improvement and "moving on" so to speak, they wouldn't have an audience any more. It's a general trend in the manosphere and you see it with cernovich, jordy petes, roosh etc., lots of $29.95 webinars and secret lingo but no real advice. Confirmation bias sells.
