This guy is hardly relevant to any facet of life anymore but he still shows his head up every so often and I'd like to introduce everyone to the original imageboard copyright troll.

Michael Horowitz Foster is the original author of Tinyboard, a PHP imageboard software suite that was abandoned. Czaks adopted it and made it into Vichan, improving upon the codebase, adding more features, and managing the project for years until it was in turn forked by Fredrick Brennan and turned into Infinity, the codebase that 8chan runs on.

Tinyboard is racked with flaws and despite all the king's horses and all the king's men trying to put it back together, it still to this day is broken. It's the very reason why 8chan slowed to a crawl and why 8chan is down at this very second. This man made some of the worst decisions in programming history and they inconvenience thousands of people every single day. It's also why Infinity Next, and in turn 16chan, got launched.

So why's this guy a Lolcow?

Because he's so ashamed of the damage he did to the Internet with his abortion that he copyright trolls to this very day.

Now, copyrights and intellectual property and important, but this isn't about protecting his software -- it's about protecting his name, and removing any affiliation with imageboards.

The copyright message in his original license points to http://tinyboard.org, which now redirects to http://stopnerds.org/. A veiled insult to anyone still using the software.

Despite being and irrelevant, ugly, incompetent nobody who has been completely forgotten by time and the Imageboard community at large, he hawks all Vichan websites and repositories to make sure his pitiful copyright notice is enforced, despite his last "contribution" being years ago.

Oh yeah, this was back when Ryan Cleary had DDOS’d DreamHost and costed STI $130, so by the next month or two he hacked into the forum page of ED after figuring out a password and leaked the email addresses of EDF users on Pastebin under the pseudonym “P.F.” before later being doxxed himself. Apparently, Cleary had set the password to “niggers1” which was what allowed the hack. Cleary would later be busted for computer hacking himself and found with child pornography on his hard drive. This was the only time ED was ever hacked. Similarly, in 2014, Daniel Brandt had jacked the .es domain after Zaiger registered it under his name to drive away any negative attention that the site might bring him. Once Brandt found out about this, he simply called up the web host confirming who he was and shut the domain down.
