These two tigers are rescues, he didn't take them from the wild, iirc they were imported to south africa illegally and he ended up taking care of them as they were not fit to be returned to the wild, they couldn't look after themselves.

I resent this retarded point of view. I'd only agree with it in this case because Bengal Tigers are endangered. Beyond endangered species, and so long as it's sustainable, people should be able to do whatever the they want with animals.

South Africa is a country where farmers are being massacred and fleeing from their homes with the tacit approval of the government, I don't think they have a lot of zoos.
