Microsoft is trialing ads in Windows Explorer itself - drink verification can to continue

Honestly though, imagine using Windows for anything other than games, and imagine using any Windows released after Windows 7.
Even games are on the way out now. Everyone (or almost everyone) capitulated to using Steam, and Valve repurposed the SteamOS project to turn into an emulation layer, basically, for the linux version of Steam, so tons of games that don't have official releases now run reasonably well on linux distros, without the headache of having to tinker with Wine.

You don't need old-ass LTSC versions to avoid the mandatory updates, just use Professional and disable them through the Group Policy Editor. You can even reenable them temporarily if you really want to update, then disable them again.
or use Winaero Tweaker to turn off updates.

mfw i make my own products unusable (people will still buy them lol)

Those two bozos never bothered to plaster Windows with ads, and now they have no impact on development of Microsoft products. Blame this fucking Pajeet for giving such atrocious ideas a green light.

Pajeets ruin everything, like this faggot that ran Commodore into the ground and destroyed the Amiga.

Say what you will about Apple at least it show the Tips thing once and then never again. Even Ubuntu dumps Amazon shit in the dock by default.

Rare video from the Windows 11 planning meeting.

Technically he was just a clueless stooge (((Irving))) hired after he threw out (((Jack))).
What really killed Commodore was those 2 jews constantly backstabbing everyone including themselves.

EOL for all other versions of W10 is October 2025.

I'd consider moving over to LTSC 2019 if you haven't done so already, even if it's just to avoid all the crapware baked into every other W10 version. I've been on it for over 12 months now and I wouldn't go back to normie W10 if you paid me.

tbqh I should probably move over to Linux and just run any Windows apps I can't get away from in a VM. At least I have 7 years to do that, because LTSC.
LTSC 2021 (IoT) still has a 10 year life cycle, just putting it out there.

I only care about retaining the ability to run Internet Explorer. Is Internet Explorer 11 fully supported for the lifecycle of W10 LTSC?

Yes, everything that comes with LTSC is supported for its whole lifecycle, including IE.

Internet Explorer is included in Windows 10 LTSC releases as its feature set is not changing, and it will continue to get security fixes for the life of a Windows 10 LTSC release.

>World goes to shit/WW3/resource shortage
>Still in Windows using a laptop for college
>Windows puts ads in next update
>Still can't buy parts for new computer
>Still haven't learnt Linux

I'm not gonna make it am I frens?
Never too late to learn Linux, start with a VM. Begin to disconnect from the botnet.

so this is what hapens when you have unrestricted capitalism and corporate greed influence the design of software
you know maybe that teddy k guy was right about a few things
