Hello fellow people. Some people hate on mike david too much (including people obsessed in this thread). Those people are not entertaining or interesting. Sven may seem like the exception, but even he doesn't dwell on Mike, because he is sane and interesting. He also doesn't seem to hate Mike, just recognizes they can't be friends (from recent MATI interview).

Mike has a history of getting angry with his audience (and even getting angry with @svenstoffels) for making antisemitic jokes…but that was also coming from the same man who made a whole parody song of the Ducktales theme, only he replaced 90% of the lyrics with “nigger”. It’s archetypical “lolcow” behavior: “oy vey we can make fun of the darkies but don’t make fun of g_d’s chosen people! Then the audience thinks you’re an actual unironic antisemite, oy gevalt!”

the way he explained it in the feb 2014 episode of redbar was that Sven obviously wasn't joking with his comments while Mike obviously is. yes its fag logic but thats what he said. The other big thing is that as a kike Mike can't afford to be mocked, Sven didn't realize i guess but Mike only turned on him after the dildo prank. its the same reason he turned on Timothy Schwearing in 2012, mike takes the jokes personally and then goes full on against whomever, he's like the scorpion on the frog. Even when he blatantly loves the guy like Mike did with Matt Dudley, his giant pal, all it took was the guy's girlfriend trying to get in some jabs and mocking mike and mentioning matt's big dick for Mike to slowly take him out of the show's rotation of co-hosts.

but Mike said he didn't identify as jewish, he was just a regular white dude. beyond that he also said and took advantage of the idea that nothing is off limits in comedy, he literally recorded songs about fucking obama's daughters when they were just children. he can't go "NO THAT'S OFFENSIVE STOP THAT NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW" when it is something he cares about, he even pointed that out for why he hates Timothy Schwearing and Anthony Cumia.

Mike uses Stripe for SCARSCLUB and for merch. Most of Mike's content is offensive but he of all people knows that the one thing you cannot do is blatantly insult the tribe (who run Stripe, his sole source of income). If he lost Stripe, he is completely fucked and REDBAR is dead.
It's the same reason he stopped saying nigger. No nigger words, no nazi stuff, no holocaust denial.
I also feel that Sven knows this, but for whatever reason writes it off as his very good friend of a decade being "triggered". The situation is clearly more nuanced.
