It seems like I was right after all:

For those who haven't figured it out by now, nobody is born gay. Male homosexuals are the byproduct of an absent or hostile father during childhood. Any man who was raised exclusively by their mother, or who had a strained relationship with their father, is a homosexual. There’s a bunch of high-profile closeted men out there, like Elon Musk, Lebron James, Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate, Justin Bieber, Drake, Eminem, Dwayne Johnson, Jake/Logan Paul, The Weeknd, Pete Davidson, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Cristiano Ronaldo, Will Smith, the list goes on. Most men in entertainment (actors, artists, comedians, etc) are gay, and you can find out yourself by examining their upbringing.

In Michael’s case, he grew up rebellious and defiant, which led to the hostility from his father. I don’t know about everyone else, but personally, I find this midget to be incredibly fascinating in so many ways. He tries really hard to present himself as someone with a strong moral compass and a life that is fully figured out, but his juvenile takes and blatant lies paint a different picture to me. I think the midge might’ve forgotten that not all his viewers are completely stupid, because some of us remember what he says from one episode to the next. I'm looking forward to seeing how this midget manages to escape from his current predicament, because I doubt Julienne would take that level of deception lightly.

Michael, just so we’re clear, I’m not being “negative”, “evil”, or “mean” when I point out the facts of your reality. It’s not my fault that you ramble on about your personal life without filter, I’m just a shrewd viewer with opinions. How could you possibly expect me to feel sorry for you when you’re the one who’s made all the terrible decisions that led to this point? Yes, the truth hurts, but it’s better than living in denial.

the fighter and the kid reddit is retarded, it's so cringe, everyone just copying each other, using the same dumb misspelled words and phrases to sound like schaub. in the bbg someone posted something from that subreddit and said 'bapa' and he quickly got shit on, and rightly so. it's unsurprising that they all seem like they hate redbar, but it's ironic that they also seem to be criticizing him for being a 'hater' when they're literally all posting on the most popular hate sub there is.

also i love season 20, i almost think it's the funniest mike has ever been, maybe not the funniest the show has ever been just because a lot of crazy stuff has happened, like with news stories or whatever, but mike is just funny as fuck, the last 3 or so episodes have consistently made me lol, just from like mike saying random shit.

bbg are the people who pay him so they can be a little bit closer to him = they are all fags

Michael's behavior towards Julienne on the show gives us a glimpse into how she's treated when the cameras are off:

The midge is becoming noticeably irritated by even the slightest interruptions from Julienne, and he’s now intentionally emphasizing it to make her seem like a nuisance on the show. Sven's allegations against Michael seem to match up perfectly with what’s being shown on every episode as well. I wonder how she’ll react once she finally realizes Michael’s derogatory “jokes” about her on the show are actually sincere? Julienne’s always had an inferiority complex, so finding out that Michael was actually repulsed by her the whole time would confirm all those negative feelings about herself. Any self-esteem she has left would be slaughtered. I just can’t imagine the torment this poor woman has gone through, and will continue to go through, with this miserable jackass. Hey Michael, your behavior towards Julienne is inexcusable and you should feel ashamed of yourself.

“If anything’s gonna go according to plan in my life, it’s that once I get all better, you’re going to die”. Is anyone else getting Michael Peterson vibes off this midget?

I think that was one of the weakest episodes of the season. Still better than everything else out there but can't say I'm not disappointed.

Also, that was probably fullsail's best post yet if I'm being honest, and maybe I'm projecting here but it felt like Mike was extra careful with Jules yesterday, so maybe he saw it and took it to heart. I'm not even kidding. Mike typically steamrolls Jules with no shame, but yesterday he kept letting her finish. It might have been too subtle to notice if you haven't been listening through the archives like me.

I love how fullsail is so persistent with his obsession but so unbelievably dim and autistic.

He ponders why people who watch Redbar don’t seem to notice Mike contradicting himself from day to day, yet obviously watches/listens to RBR more than enough for any person of average intellect to realize what Mike’s schtick is. He talks out of his ass, he is going with the flow, just saying whatever sounds good at that moment to make idiots believe his “takes” are authentic.

His entire comedic presence is dependent on a flow state, every now and again he channels it into something magical. Denny and Melton suck because they rarely elicit this magic. Logan Paul, Big Mike, Ethan (and especially Hila) Klein bring out his best. The “I have no idea, I give him a year” thing was golden, his dissections of Hila’s appearance and Ethan’s character are LoL funny. When he’s explaining why Sam Tripoli’s keedz suck it’s funny, because we know he does not mean it, he thinks it’s funny to LET other people think he is going to fuck Luis J. Gomez’ son, or put Owen Benjamin’s kids in coffins.

Jules adds to the show in that Mike feels confident around her and that ups his funny, also he can kind of roll with the show notes and focus, or absolutely fall face first into just talking bullshit about nothing for hours, which I’m going to cancel Scars over if it keeps happening.

Season 20 has had few big highlights and LOTS of meandering “GET TO THE FUNNY” time, which is why I can’t watch it live anymore. I think Mike switched from hydros to oxy or something, I think that year off for “illness” was definitely opioid related, that or benzo withdrawal. He talks about his gut. cycling opioids or just semi-regular use of opiates will wreak havoc on your gut.

It just makes no sense that he still gets sick regularly but it also seems like his heart isn’t as in it as it was in 18/19 when my favorite Redbar eps were happening. The last ep didn’t make me laugh at all, just boring. The stuff that was funniest was on the screen. Usually it’s Mike being petty, zooming and clowning on that, he is just getting the paycheck, which I can’t hate. If he wants the check he should put out merch, cmon

Anyone else (not fullsail) seein this?

My current theory is that Mike was never too sick to do the show. It was a combination of Jules getting pregnant, secretly having a kid, and getting spooked by Sam Tripoli. Mike is just devious and wise enough to use such a lie to benefit him in more ways than one. The kind of empathy and good karma, or failing that, forgiveness, this story has brought him, can’t be denied.

Mike’s common “belly full of guilt” accusation is a big projection, and as someone who has always prided himself on honesty, and has always shat on those he deemed dishonest, he’s stuck with these lies and the guilt forever.

But he’s also bipolar, so one moment he’ll feel it to its full extent, the next, he can’t imagine feeling that way, even though he just did.

Also agree with most of what Trapped in Hila’s Muff said. Something has been messing with Mike’s passion for the show, and I really think it might all lead back to being a father. Think about it, given the show’s (recent) history, do you really think they wouldn’t hide that from everyone?

Oh is my post dumb to you fullsail? How ironic. Are you Mike?

The fullsail account is Mike’s attempt to discredit his haters by making them all look insane.

Mike’s illness makes no sense because it isn’t real or as debilitating as he claims. They took a year vacation to travel, go off-roading in their new Jeep, and possibly had a kid.

Why did Jules’ voice change at some point around mid season 19?

Some of you will recall old episodes where she was on-camera. Could future pregnancies be a reason for moving her off? Mike’s the one who preens for hours, and used to wear a hat every episode if he was too lazy to do so, so the excuse that Jules would take too long to get ready doesn’t make sense.

I could go on and on. Mike is such a control freak, and so anal-retentive, that none of this is out of the question if you ask me. He won’t even let anyone see him standing. Think about that. He wants your one and only perception of him to be behind the desk with oversized sunglasses. Dude is hiding shit.

I just can't imagine Mike with a kid but I agree the illness story doesn't quite make sense with what reason he could possibly have for not saying what he was sick with. I figure it's either something embarrassing (drug-related outcome, him exaggerating some lesser illness, etc.) or just made up completely to cover up the need for a much longer break in the show.

A few things that kinda support the idea of the new kid though are the need for a studio (can't have a rugrat running into the studio like that dog when they did the show out of Mike's apartment) and that, I believe, they no longer have a dog for the first time in forever.

They do still act to me like a childless couple, though. They don't exactly live the most exciting lives but I doubt they could swing even the activities they do talk about if they had a kid to raise in addition to doing the show. They sound as though their priorities haven't changed at all from a few years ago like they would if they went through any big life transition, and I just don't see them being able to fake that over such a long show.

Also idk if it's just me or what but I recently listened to a lot of 2016 era redbar (highly recommend btw) and I don't hear the difference in Jules' voice from back then to now.

i was thinking fullsail was a Redbar fan having fun but i'd be lying if i haven't considered him actually being Mike himself as well

i cant quote your other post for some reason, but i completely prefer when Mike "talks bullshit over nothing" over talking about logan paul and ethan klein
