Mike David / Red Bar Radio / Jules Felker David - "Where we at with Red Bar?"

Jules, no one cares what you think. I don't participate in the chat but I would guess with confidence that the comments are always directed towards Mike and Mike alone. And stop interrupting so much, for God's sake.

I think Julienne’s amazing. She's the one who keeps the show on track and stops it from turning into a bunch of nonsensical ramblings from an isolated midget who clearly never goes out and can only share sad anecdotes about his pathetic life. Julienne also has this hilarious way of calling out and embarrassing Michael while live and making him squirm in the middle of a show. I vividly remember an episode earlier this season when Julienne straight up exposed Michael for letting his gym equipment collect dust for months after he had been bragging about his workout routine for well over a year. The little man was furious and practically forced her to say she was “joking” and apologize in front of everyone.

There was another time where she exposed the midgelet for never trimming his toenails and letting them grow into long, sharp, and jagged talons. Normally I would post those clips here and have a good laugh at Michael's expense, but I’d hate for Julienne to get on his bad side because Sven told everyone he's both verbally and emotionally abusive towards her.

because Sven told everyone he's both verbally and emotionally abusive towards her.
this is where a redditor would go "you sweet summer child" like Mike was pretty much abusive towards every person he's lived with. even when Sven only stayed for a few days it suddenly turned to Mike trying to assert dominance, only to get swatted down like the bug he is.

Also i've gotten a better appreciation for Jules as the years have gone on, especially with her and mike doing the notes out in the open you can go back and tell how much was either pre-scripted or just stuff Jules would have mike watch knowing he'd react. like if you watch a 2014 episode vs a 2020 episode its like an entirely different show and one closer to an Ethan Ralph era killstream than the Mike we know and love and thats because of Jules.

Thats another reason mike got fired, Mike David was actively abusing the interns, the interns for the comedy club was mostly women who's be passing out flyers or helping the comedians get to and from the show, Mike David naturally was abusing his power over them by forcing them to drive him places or pick up his dry cleaning and restaurant orders or force them to drive comedians to and from his radio show.
What exactly do you think an internship is?

Howard Stern invented interns getting him food. He forced Steve Grillo to bake his potato to his precise liking, or order him a beautiful soup from the deli. Then, berated him for an hour on air, if it was over cooked or late.

I think you have some bizarre fantasy of what having an internship in entertainment means.
Nothing about red bar internships was anything like that. Mike would forge intern paperwork for students claiming that it was relevant work experience. He got called out on it once when a student’s advisor demanded he meet Mike to go over the professionalism of the internship and Mike ended up embarrassing himself and the professor failed the student and Mike took no responsibility, just called him an idiot or something.

During the club was Mike’s “mad men is a about how don draper is a cool guy because he gets drunk at work and slaps women around and calls them pet names” and would make female interns do personal work like go grocery shopping and laundry for Mike since he never fixed his broken washer/dryer and clean the dog shit out of his bathtub. Only Kyle had them do club work and Kyle was pissed Mike was hogging the interns to do irrelevant shit for him in Albany park an hour away instead of downtown where the club was

I work in the engineering world. If you think engineering interns don't pick people up at the airport and other bitch work, I don't know what to tell ya.

Am I supposed to be outraged by this? Wasting interns’ time is funny and cool.

Posted this in the original Rekieta thread but I doubt many people saw it because it was moving at the speed of light at the time.

Redbar donates $299.99 to Steel Toe after April's arrest: View attachment 6030753

It's so typical of Michael to worm his way into drama that has absolutely nothing to do with him, especially when he's feeling starved for attention. I bet he saw April's arrest as the perfect opportunity to flex his "wealth" by making a flashy donation in the chat while throwing shade at Aaron, all in a desperate attempt at getting some praise from the few fans he has left. What a sad little man you are, Michael.

I've said it before and it's worth repeating: Michael is an absolute joke. This midget is so pathetically insecure about his build that he literally cowers behind a break screen whenever he has to do something as basic as standing up or bending down for something. And his need for validation is so extreme that he’s willing to flush $300 down the toilet just to make sure Aaron notices him and acknowledges his presence. It’s like Michael thinks he’s some kind of celebrity because he clearly expects people to grovel at his feet and worship him every time he gives them the slightest bit of attention or even a response. What a delusional idiot.

Any Red Bar fan who praises this closet case just for being alive should be ashamed of themselves for enabling this level of delusion in someone. Seriously, who in their right mind would look at Michael’s pathetic excuse for a life and think that's anything worth aspiring to or fawning over?

he's right though lol, mike can't retrieve something 1 foot away from his desk without a break screen + music. it's definitely embarrassing
