US Mike Johnson Says Men Need to Stop 'Playing Video Games All Day' and Get to Work: 'They're Draining Resources' - lol. LMFAOYFNFFAFO even.

"Return the dignity of work to young men who need to be at work instead of playing video games all day."

House Speaker Mike Johnson defended cuts to Medicaid, insisting it would "return the dignity of work to young men who need to be at work instead of playing video games all day.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson defended Republican efforts to attach work requirements to Medicaid, suggesting that young American men are wasting their lives "playing video games all day" instead of working.

Johnson's remarks came as House Republicans pushed forward a budget framework that would help finance President Donald Trump's tax cuts, with plans to slash federal spending by trillions. GOP leaders are eyeing $880 billion in reductions to Medicaid, a move critics warn could gut health coverage for millions of low-income Americans.

Johnson attempted to sidestep claims of direct benefit cuts, instead blaming "able-bodied young men" for taking advantage of a program he said was meant for single mothers, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

"They're draining resources from people who actually do [need it]," Johnson said. "So if you clean that up... you save a lot of money and you return the dignity of work to young men who need to be at work instead of playing video games all day."

Despite Johnson's insistence that, "No one has talked about cutting one benefit in Medicaid," the work requirement would threaten health care access for millions, including Americans that are temporarily unemployed after being laid off.

A report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities found that as many as 36 million of the 72 million enrolled in Medicaid could be stripped of coverage under work requirements.

Trump has been promised a quick turn around on the bill, putting the pressure on Johnson and House Republicans to make significant cuts that can be rationalized to voters who stand to lose access to services, or—in Johnson's view—video game time.

What a lot of people miss (because they're intentionally being made historically illiterate) is that this is not new, it just wasn't as widespread as it is now.

This comic was drawn over 130 years ago in regards to the Pullman strike. Never heard of it?
In response to financial reverses related to the economic depression that began in 1893, the Pullman Palace Car Company, a manufacturer of railroad cars, cut the already low wages of its workers by about 25 percent but did not introduce corresponding reductions in rents and other charges at Pullman, its company town near Chicago, where most Pullman workers lived. As a result, many workers and their families faced starvation. When a delegation of workers tried to present their grievances about low wages, poor living conditions, and 16-hour workdays directly to the company’s president, George M. Pullman, he refused to meet with them and ordered them fired.
The response?
On June 27, 5,000 workers left their jobs and 15 railroads were tied up. By the next day, 40,000 had walked off, and rail traffic was snarled on all lines west of Chicago. On the third day, the number of strikers had climbed to 100,000, and at least 20 lines were either tied up or completely stopped. By June 30, 125,000 workers on 29 railroads had quit work rather than handle Pullman cars. The ARU had few locals in the East or the Deep South, but the boycott seemed remarkably effective everywhere else.
They were retards and rioted, however, getting so bad the feds had to get involved. As a result, nothing was done and the Pullman company was able to keep exploiting their workers well into the 1950s. The point I'm trying to make is that to enact actual change, a lot of harsh things need to be done, and done correctly, a likelihood which is heavily diminished nowadays. If 1890s railroad workers couldn't hold in their (justified) tard-rage, imagine 2020s workers in just about every important field today. The Summer of Love would look like a leisurely stroll in the park in comparison, and I don't think anybody wants to rip that particular Band-Aid off, no matter how loudly we complain.

When did Null Complain about Legos? Was this from a recent stream?
Most recent MATI, he was talking about adult children and how Legos were being made for them instead of kids.

This has been an ongoing problem that has been increasingly worse as each year passes. What is your point?
Nothing, I just like to complain via videos of old comedians.

Good lord I had no idea the farms was so full of useless NEETS. There is nothing noble about sitting around in your house playing video games and getting fat, you're just justifying your chronic laziness as some gay ass form of rebellion against the system, maaaaan.
Nobody gives a fuck about the welfare niggers. Nor is anyone defending them. That's not what Mike Johnson is talking about it and you know it. Don't be a disingenuous faggot. You know that Mike Johnson is just like every other boomer that thinks Millennials and Zoomers are all unemployed lazy NEETs that never shower because they aren't working 20 hrs per week 7 days a week washing dishes after their day job for $18/hr just to get by. Despite the fact he would never do the same if he were in their shoes. He's completely oblivious to the fact what he did to get wealthy is either now illegal and/or his profession now requires twice the schooling to enter at 3 times the cost and his career (before becoming involved in Congress) now takes 3 times as long to develop for a fraction of the salary due to competition. If you put Mike Johnson in today's world, he would be stuck working during the day as an attorney, moonlighting as a bartender, and doing another paralegal job on weekends just to get by. If you told him now that's what he would have to do, he would never do it. He would say fuck this, either I'm taking gibs or try to find another path forward.

I don't know why so many of you faggots can't understand a culture of where "everyone has to grind themselves into the dirt to be successful" isn't sustainable long term. Too many people fail and each failure bloats the system and economy and make everything worse. Yes, you need to work. No, you shouldn't be sacrificing your health and well being at 3 fucking jobs working 16 hours a day for 7 days a week. If you have 1 job and it's 24/7, that's one thing. However the average person should not be working a day job, moonlighting as a bartender, and flipping burgers on weekend- that is not sustainable. That is where Millennials and Gen Z are at as a generation. You cannot sustain this long term. The requirements for schooling have to go. The costs of colleges have to get fucked. The sites like LinkedIn and Indeed that only serve to bar people from good jobs, need to go. Job criteria filtering needs to go. The culture of competition has gotten out of control and the balloon needs to let out some air. It's what caused salaries and pay rates to stagnate.

Republican Boomercucks will never win. The men who are disaffected are not going to suddenly buy into your bullshit just because you shame them. Matt Walsh and Stephen Crowder both ate shit for this. What makes you think you'll ever do any better? This crap literally ended Jordan Peterson's right wing career.

Nice fallacy, Mike Johnson. I work a full time job and sometimes I would play video games after work as entertainment. I also go out in my city to explore too. I'm not just a NEET mindlessly engaging in video games. Fuck off with that.

Whats infuriating is you keep describing how it's possible to get a good job if you put in effort
We switched a long time ago from a manufacturing economy where we built stuff to a service economy where we provide services to other people. Which was fine I guess but now we are switching to just... Nothing. We are increasingly trying to automate every job, switching them to short term contracts so companies don't have to pay benefits, and exporting them to third workers. Entry level jobs have been hit the hardest. Companies increasingly want to hire only the high level experienced people in the field while not offering any of the entry level jobs in said field.

Then when new fields like all those tech fields pop up a million people flood them trying to get a better life and then we setup a million pointless college degrees so people can indebt themselves for life only to complete the degrees and find the only jobs they can get are minimum wage or temp jobs.

Then you have armies of overpaid recruiters who have no idea what they are hiring for and just throw in these insane requirements. At some point soon they're going to start requiring a professional cooking degree, 4 years of customer service, and 4 years of field experience just to flip burgers at McDonald's.

Companies are completely unreasonable and the reason that an increasing amount of young people just want to exit society.

One thing I agree with Null about: you must work or you must starve. Regardless of how you feel about America's work culture, if you accept welfare it's because some other niggercattle is working and paying for it. You are an absolute nigger if you cannot take care of yourself in even this most rudimentary of ways.
unless you shoot the people in charge the welfare cattle will never cease being a burdensome tumor upon the white man. It is a system designed by swinefolk to make social mobility an impossibility. If i am to be tithed 1/3rd of all fiat earned not including further state tithes on all forms of investment, then it is simply not worth pursuing, there is plenty more to enamor myself with in this wide world then the fruitless endeavors of the working class.

And to what does this tithe go? Paying niggers to stay poor and undermining the national destiny of foreign peoples. If you want to continue working hard in America in spite of the environment which punishes that behavior it is because of instinctual or cultural prerequisites, youre not doing the right thing, you dont have a good work ethic, you are a workhorse who knows no better. You serve that which poisons you, owns you, and will eventually liquidate you.

Everyone should take what ever pittance the state doles back to them at every juncture with no guilt. You are owed more from the world hegemony. Additionally the only other way the welfare nigger cattle will ever stop their troughs from being filled is if there is simply not enough willing laborers to fulfill the need.

All of this put simply, why the hell should I serve a machine thats clear and openly stated goal is to pillage and purge me?
Nobody gives a fuck about the welfare niggers. Nor is anyone defending them.
I am defending them. They are retards who know no better and will literally do whatever the government incentivizes them to. The problem is not the negroidic underclass, it is the law's draftsmen, and the parliamentary representatives which is inspiring them to act out the most self harming and feral behavior of the modern nigger culture. It is not their fault the system pushes sheboons to shit out infinity niglets and lax crime punishment, it is an intentional act of the state to terrorize and control a divided populous, they had no say in it and those who tried to guide the american negro to greener pastures were put out to pasture themselves and quietly replaced with houseniggers.

Are able bodied NEETs even consuming that much healthcare? I'd assume most of them would be too fucking lazy for regular dentist checkups and whatnot
That's not the issue, the issue is the fact that white and east asian men are the only net producers in society and if they can't be sufficiently milked the whole thing collapses.

As an avowed right wing internet racist I'll say two things

1. Jobs are out there. I started out of college at 65k with a job. Six years later I'm making 120k as a White guy. Been promoted four times because I work harder than nigs or females

2. Johnson is an out of touch boomer. This isn't the issue. Infinity gibs for niggers and migrants are.

Kek, I play video games at work, not instead of. Medicaid is not on my mind as I'm smashing maps or bullying survivors. Buzzwords from an out of touch elderly thinking I'm skipping shifts to put quarters into a Frogger machine at the bodega.

The internet, TV and politics in general is a very strong tool used to control people. We would literally have to get to a stage where people are too poor to even afford access to the tools used to distribute propaganda. If there was some large scale general movement against wages and current company culture it would immediately be branded as communist to one side and racists to the other.

As an addendum to my post above yours I've gotten good enough at my job that for half the day I have a mouse jiggler on and I'm playing vidya.

Why can I do this? Because I knock out my due outs in the first two hours of the day. My coworkers assume it takes me eight hours to deliver.

If you aren't NEET'ing with a job git gud.

I will say this has only been enabled due to COVID WFH. Prior to that I would just reserve our company massage chair room for two hours on outlook, take a nap up there, and return to my desk to read wikipedia until 5.

Skill issue.
