Yes, I'm well aware most scientists are pozzed as fuck, Mike, I still believe in a variation of the Cathedral after all. I just don't think it's as simple as ignoring environmental factors and historical discrimination that causes societal dysfunction. Heritability is only part of the puzzle.

Topical: funny enough yesterday I listened to Sam Harris's podcast and Charles Murray, the much-maligned author of The Bell Curve, was the guest on it. Murray has been quite unfairly branded as a racist and a Nazi simply because he does argue that IQ actually matters and that there are indeed differences in IQ between racial groups. But one thing that he emphasized in the podcast is that race and intelligence is a silly thing for people to fixate on, as differences between individuals are much more significant than differences between groups, to the extent that it only makes sense to look at people as individuals.

No. My IQ has been measured by professionals twice and is 130-140 and I guess a tiny portion of Blacks are smarter than me.
