Let me summarize my honest first impressions when I waded into this thread (having not gone through the whole thing), and how interacting with you changed my initial perspective:

-I don't like Nazism, scientific racism, white nationalism, etc. On that basis I fully admit I did not come into this with neutral feelings, and these weren't things we were going to see eye to eye on.

BUT...

-Initially I thought the jokes about you being a dwarf were infantile and yeah, we all have seen the experiment video and know you're actually relatively tall. I initially didn't give positive ratings to any posts about you being a dwarf and had no intentions to engage in such insults. People also kept mocking the picture of your face, and while I honestly found that pretty funny from the outset, again I felt that mocking someone's physical appearance was unnecessary when there are actual character defects to focus on.

But then...

a.) I saw you repeatedly mock the physical characteristics of other people.
b.) I saw you freak out whenever people mocked your own physical appearance.

The hypocrisy and your willingness to engage in this made it legitimate to mock you over, in my mind. And your reactions made it funny.

-Initially I thought that the comments about you being a pedo were a bit unfair because I felt that your oft-quoted statement on the matter should have been qualified and was phrased poorly on your part but was arguably defensible if approached a certain way and if you were speaking in terms of biological, unintentional physical attraction and not ethics, law or actions. While I found the jokes kind of funny, I have a huge bias in favour of being able to discuss taboo subjects in an intellectually honest way and against using ridicule and straw men to stifle such things.

But then...

a.) You repeatedly seemed incapable of separating biology and ethics, or impulses and actions. You refused to qualify your statements in a satisfactory way when given ample opportunities to do so, and made disturbing insinuations about the subject.
b.) Again, you freaked out whenever this was brought up.

So, you again managed to eliminate all of the benefit of the doubt I approached you genuinely willing and intending to give you. And you made it hilarious to mock you over this.

You know, Mike, when you approach everyone with the assumption that they are completely hostile and you can't engage with them in a civil way, you tend to make that a self-fulfilling prophecy. That doesn't mean that your initial perception of anyone was correct.
