Notice how Mike is no stranger to discussion. Unlike ADF or
@Brad Watson_Miami, he doesn't outright ignore conversation. On the other hand, Mike seems incapable of actually comprehending and addressing the words of others. He keeps going back to his talking points because, presumably, that's what he's prepared to consider. Those are his stock responses, and he's useless if those don't fly with his audience. That's why he says "liar" when he can't specify what the untruth told is. It's why he yells "JOOS" even though he can't really connect it to any larger point. And why, today, he's claiming "gaslighting" even though that's not even a thing and even he admits it. Mike fancies himself a great mind, but doesn't have the confidence in his abilities to back it up. Most of all, he's afraid that an honest exchange of ideas will expose a sizable gap in his own knowledge. A greater mind would accept this as part of the learning process. To Mike, it feels like abject failure.
