Genuinely a great way of approaching universal design. Akin as to how one could strip Lego figures of all their characteristics and be left with a yellow humanoid creature. Then Jeb decided to ruin the entire purpose and add Alex and her model for trannies to feel slightly less aggravated towards their blocky shoulders. Adding onto this, there was a time before the massive political dump of today where viewpoints like this could be held even by diehard "conservative" types. We didn't have the radicalization of Trump yet and gen Z wasn't of voting age. Milquetoast takes about gender, race, etc. were still very common.

Then one day the fags and the troons decided that you either had to agree with them on everything (including raping and mutilating children) or get debanked and unpersoned. If you tried to hold a view like this nowadays you'd get shit on for not being woke enough for the left (and being too woke for the right.) Welcome to a post-9/11 world.

Historical context, again. A game getting all meta like Minecraft did with the end poem was still a relatively new and interesting idea. I remember being bummed that it never got elaborated upon (more dimensions, more bosses, maybe unlocking more "poems" that elaborate on the unique lore) but nucraft seems more interested in turning into generic cozyslop. A shame.

Confession time

I love Minecraft but I never actually finished it. Idk, I tend to peter out when you reach and explore the Nether since, by that point, you usually have achieved a comfortable stability in the regular world so there really isnt anything driving you forward. Enemies cease to be challenging and what remains challenging usually does so because of bullcrap like poisoning. I also just never got into enchanting and chemistry, they just didnt "click" with me.

Idk, maybe Im retarded or what appeals Minecraft to me begins to sort of end when it stops being more survival and starts being more "kill Enderdragon" because, really, thats your "end goal" if you gotta pretend to have one.

The end sucks so they stuck shulker boxes and elytra behind it which is really the only reason anyone bothers. Other than that the whole fucking thing is made of cheese so there's not even any decent block suppy.

Nether has a few necessities and certain farms can be made, but the real "reason" to deal with it is nether highways. There is some diversity and some blocks there, but the nether" revamp" fucked it up because there's biomes up other biome's ass.

All this shit is bypassed by having a good little modpack with some real travel options, like GTNH or something :smug:
